Boxers are cute!

I want one of those white dogs with the screwed up faces and the pointy ears. I've always thought pit bulls can great dogs, too.

I would love to have an exotic animal as a pet - like a panther, cheetah, or leopard - but since that is kind of impossible, I guess I would settle for a Doberman or a German Shepard.

Boxers are cute!

they're cute because they are so fugly. i LOVE the ugly mutts, with the squashed up faces and wrinkled noses and big grins.

Two cats. Cats are the best pets, fun to play with and not stupidly loyal like a dog.

13 and still at home. .*shakes head slowly* you should be out working in the oil fields!! Then you could get yourself an apartment and those 20 cats you want. Remember, school and study only drag you down with useless facts. Live free, live stupid!! Oh god, if your folks read that they will sue me. . .damn.

Oh geez...

Being that my mother is now a science teacher, she has a lot of animals (which we consider pets) which stay at the school.....sooooo....

7-Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches
2-Congo Millipedes (Slinky and Toby)
1-Ferret (Dodger)
2-Bearded Dragons (Zilla and Puff)
a dozen or so fish
1-Iguana (Zim)
2-Turtles (Dr. Leaky and Prof. Hitachu)
4-Fire-belly toads (Ringo, John, Paul, George)
3-Degus (Violet, Sam, Reba)
2-Rats (Reeses and Snickers)
1-Hedgehog (Velcro)
4-Anoles (Reza, Toga, Frida, Hatta)
1-Leopard gecko (Sydney)

Let it be known that *I* did NOT name the animals (Except for the iguana, the turtles, the anoles, and the gecko). The rest of the animals were named by 6th graders.

As far as animals at home:

1-Emerald tree boa (mine)- Absinthe
2-inside dogs: Maximus (Miniature Pinscher) and Anja (Italian Greyhound)
3-outside dogs: Mauna and Ahi (Huskies), Jackson (German Shep.)
3-outside cats (who are all strays and were dropped off) Sizzie, Jezzie, and Zuzu

We also have horses, but they're boarded a few hours away.

The outside cats were all dropped off when we were building the house, and they just stick around....

Mauna and Ahi were brought over from Poland, and Jackson is a adoptee that my brothers fell in love with.

The good thing about where we live is that we have a HUGE yard for them to run in, and they all star within our property, so I'm not constantly chasing dogs. :)

As far as animals I WANT. I love reptiles, so another snake perhaps or a water dragon....hmmm I dunno! Heh...

I have eight cats.
Butch
Bubba
D.D.
Lucy
Maggie
Twitchy
Squeakers
Dunkin'

I'd like a couple of horses, preferably Arabians. Maybe a Maine Coon, and a couple of Borzoi. I think they look so aristocratic.

My parents only sue for a reason. Like the girl were sueing for robbing our bank account.

Hmm...
I'd have to say either a cat or a rabbit. Because cats are evil, and rabbits are cool.
Ooh, or a boa! I like snakes.
Like this one:

How did sixth graders get to naming toads after the Beatles...?

I'd like a pair of Sugar Gliders (http://www.chaffeezoo.org/animals/images/sugarglider.jpg)-cause they cool, suckas.

I like cats.

No holds barred-I'd want a pair of Otters. I'd build them a big ass waterslide playset in the backyard that went into the pool, have a pond that is stocked with muscles(not that kind, I just didn't want to look up the other spelling...or if there is one....). That would be so damn cool. And impractical. And probably illegal. And I live on the coast of Northern California, so if I wanted to see an Otter that damn bad I just have to go to the beach. But still....

I can't believe I forgot about otters!
Otters are awesome. I loved that book "Ring of Bright Water" when I was a kid. The movie too.

Hmm, I wonder if I ever bought a copy of the movie?

I've always fancied a pack of wolfves, or the most wolf-like dogs available, but i doubt it'll happen. Cats are always a good bet, but when i'm older i'd really REALLY like to start keeping rats again. We used to have some, but we didn't have as much time to look after them, so we haven't had any for years. :(

Rats are sooooo cute! :)

I used to volunteer with a Humane Society. We would show our pets off at a Petsmart location. So we got to meet a lot of different dogs. The closest mix I have seen to a wolve was 80% wolve, 20% dog. It's sort of a shame though because they are very beautiful, but they can't really integrade into society. They tend to be vicious and make other dogs stir. They have the most beautiful eyes though! :)

I'd really love some ferrets, but after reading up on them, I don't think I'd be able to care for them. Between the risks of adrenal-gland cancer and the fact that they can kill themselves by grooming (can't cough up furballs, if they're too big they get stuck in the intestinal tract and the ferret either dies or needs surgery), plus the whole... rubber... lust-hunger... I just don't think I'd have the time/resources to look after them.

So... cats. Lots and lots of cats. Cats and kittens and more cats. I'd love some wild cats, or some big cats. But since that's unlikely, I'll just stick to plain domestic cats (squee, oriental siameses = <3)

A sweet natured doggy. I don't care about breed, as long as it's not one of those annoying toy breeds.

We'll probably get a mutt from the pound. :)
