It's a completely God-awful transliteration of the Hymn to Red October from Cyrillic into English. It's painful to read, actually. If you want, I'll translate it.

It really is god awful. Dedi... Hehe. Okyabr- just bad... Basically, the first one is sort of like writing "som" instead of "son" and the second one is like writting "Ocober" instead of "October". And that's only two in the last stanza.

I assume the translator was doing everything by the way it sounds, rather than the Cyrillic letter's meaning in the Latin alphabet. No way is it that hard to transliterate.

I know. And for endings that are "iy" in Cyrillic, he's using ee I think. Like I said, it's painful to read. I mean, "Da svodonia" or some such? WTF?
