The US, of all, critizes human right abuses in Switzerland.
Another display of boundless American arrogance.

Unfortunatly I do not understand German, so in my opinion, for now, it is moot. Though I agree it would be ironic in a sense for the US government to be condemning anything.
And do not be so quick to label all of us as arrogant, to do so, shows arrogance on your own part.

Well, it criticized two incidents relating to the canton police, which the article doesn't go into much depth about. It's not a strong criticism, just a quick question.
But otherwise the article also said that the situation was rather good in Switzerland.

My german is not so good but....
The USA criticize human rights in Switzerland Berne. SDA/baz. The US State Department criticized Switzerland in its annual world-wide human right report despite a altogether positive total balance in individual cases. EDA- spokeswoman Carine Carey did not want to commentate the report. In the report, which was presented on Friday by west Swiss newspapers "Tribune de Genève" and "24 Heures", Washington judges the situation in Switzerland generally as good. In the year 2004 no political murders in the order seemed to the government. The canton police was criticized in the Waadt and in Basel city, which killed two humans during employments. US the State Department holds however that the proceeding of the police is represented of the authorities as self-defence. The US State Department with reference to the annual report of Amnesty international continues to criticize also cases of abusing by the canton police in Geneva, Glarus, Zuerich and Basel. Concerned of it are above all dark-membranous persons.

Yeah, it would be.
Basically, the article states that the situation in Switzerland is pretty good, with the exception of the death of two people and the rough treatment of black people in certain regions of the country.

Hell, we don't even have to have the police kill anyone here for some foreign country to criticize us.

But in the same breath they admit that the authorities claim it was in self defence.
I wonder if the US will scratch Switzerland as a member of the Axis of evil.

Which is apparently, what the United States was commenting on.
I would say that according to Amnesty International, both countries could stand some improvement.... some admittedly more than others.
