But, yeah, I loved that trailer, great moment of the hour, I cannot say of the day, because I had an exceptionally good interview this morning, and I finished a paper this afternoon, so today was exceptionally great.

I loved how they had palpatine in the crazy chair, that was awesome. I also was amused by the spaceships, and the prospects of a major sweet-ass space battle...and an inquisition, and all sorts of other sweet things...

The first one sucked, the second was OK, I'll just hope third times a charm. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, I just go there for the special effects. Plus it might be interesting to see Anakin fully turn to the dark side and maybe we'll see how he gets his cool Darth Vader outfit.

The OC is a horrible show on the WB. I don't watch it, but it's popular in my school because the female characters are hot. Apparently.

The OC (OC stands for Orange County, as in Orange County California, I believe) is a crappy excuse to slather the teenage community with what basically amounts to soft porn, and what some people claim to be a good prime time soap opera plot.

It's on Fox here in Cleveland, and though I would never associate myself with such a vile and putrid excuse for a primetime broadcast, I wish I'd watched it for the trailer.

I could tell you how Anakin/Vader gets the suit, but that'd just ruin it for you.

The trailer will not be available for online viewing until the 14th, unless you're a member of the Hyperspace online community, in which case you can watch it at around 9:00 Pacific Standard Time tonight. Go to starwars.com for details.

Also, the full trailer appears in the previews of the new movie Robots which starts tomorrow (the 11th).

At long last, the saga will be complete.

Star Wars is overrated, overdone, and George Lucas should be banned from making anymore crappy Star Wars film. I mean honestly, its the same crap every "espisode". You meet the good guys and the bad guys, they show the conflict, theres a battle here and there, theres a girl involved. The bad guys have the girl. The good guy need to rescue the girl, so they do. Theres a final show down, and the good guys win.

Its basically a Sci-Fi verison of an old western movie.

6,000,000 people don't give a rats ass about Star Wars ever since George ruined it with Espisode One. More specifically Jar Jar Binks.

6,000,001 people think that Espisode III will suck just as much as I, and II. In fact, III will combine the sucking of I and II, and create a whole new sucky movie. A movie that sucks so much, even die hard Star Wars fan will turn to Star Trek. Or move out of their parents basement and get jobs.

Sigh, I really can't get excited about episode III because I already know exactly what has to happen. I'll never worry about who wins a lightsaber fight because I already know who has to be alive and who has to die by the end of the movie. Stupid prequels, the ending's already given away.

At least with the first two he could throw some curveballs because he always had another movie to fix it up. But this is the last one. We KNOW what will happen at the end. There's no suspense whatsoever.

While you are entitled to your own opinion, I must respectfully disagree.

True, Episodes I & II were rather weak, but I think this is because of the crappy actors they got to play Anakin Skywalker, not because of Jar Jar Binks. I actually found him rather funny.

Episode III will be very much like Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back. Anakin surrenders his humanity and forsakes any and all things that he may ever have cared about (including Padme) for the "power" of the dark side. The bad guys score a major victory in this one.

When you look at them closely, the Star Wars movies actually say alot about humanity and the nature of good and evil. You just have to look.

Episode III will end the Republic, the great democratic goverment that has united the galaxy for the past 19,000 years.

The very fact that it will be so dark in nature should make it a substantially better movie than the other two prequels.

I can't wait until it opens.

Oh comon, Jar Jar Binks was the most annoying character on Ep. I. And you know some people say that the character was racial sterotype. After watching Ep. I about 2 times now, I can kind of see that.

Death to Jar Jar Binks!

Yeah, I guess we get enough of the improper English grammar from Yoda, and I find his promotion to general somewhat implausible, but I think the worst thing about the first two movies is the whole love thing between Anakin and Padme. I mean, she's got to be at least 6 years older than him (then again, maybe he likes older women?), and they completely butcher the romance with the cruddy actor they get to play Anakin in Episode II. It may read well, but the way it's acted is terrible.

If you've ever seen Hayden Christensen in other roles, he's actually a pretty decent actor. It was a lot more the script than the actor, I believe.

I personally found that if you just watch the Obi-wan scenes, it's a good movie. You are right, the Anakin-Padme stuff is pretty god awful.

Yeah, Obi-Wan's pretty good. Is Sir Alec Guennis (sp?, the guy who played him in Episodes IV, V, & VI) still alive? He was great.

personaly I am getting really freaking sick of hearing about Starwars Period but a lot of my friends are addicted beyond hope(Ie. have all the movies memorized word for word, liked the last two instalment and saw them more then 5 times in the theater, actually slapped down over 200 dollars for a starwars card game) but I will go see it just because 1. I won't have to pay 2. I get gloating factor of seeing it before my friends 3. well it needs to be finished even if I know whats going to happen

11-03-2005, 08:36
Well, actually...ep I and II has been so free of suprises for me. I mean, you know that the little brat for a kid would be accepted, and that Obi-Wan would teach him, you also knew that padme and Anakin would get together since they needed to get two children together...so far, no suprises.

Will I be the first in line for the movie? No. Will I see it? Yes, since I have seen all the other episods, why no the lat one? Besides, nice that it will be a lot darker :)

The movie looks good.

I wasn't that impressed with the trailer as such, however. I think they could have done a lot better.
