I'm trying to think of a name for my first born son.

My surname is Williams. I like the name Richard (would be called Richie) Oliver Williams.

Any ideas?

ezekial....LOL, my ex's first name was Ezekial - unsurprisingly, through his choice, everyone but his immeadiate family called him by his middle name, Graham :D

Names I like are William (but it seems that won't work), Damien, Everard, Christopher, and yes, Aloicious! (I'm serious!)

That's the spirit. I still say Hannibal or Hasdrubal though. So much better than anything else on the market.... and they won't take any messing, else someone will be missing a liver before the day's out.

Or you can take a common name and just spell it backwards like boB (Note the position of the big B)

Azazel, three vowels to three consonants, pretty good.
Asmodeus, not quite as good of a ratio, but it works
Beelzebub, still not 1 to 1, but damn close.
Look into some demon names. They seem to fit the bill nicely.

I hate mine because it's so damn common. I've had to put up with having anywhere between three to five people with my same first name in class at school. That's why when/if I have kids they won't exactly be common names.

I particularly like the name Alexander James, or Michael Alexander. Unfortunately those are so common you may want to pick something more "special". Like Booby. Booby Williams would be an awesome name.

I like unfamiliar names, or at least uncommon ones such as Gaetan, Etienne, Beltane and my own name Lyle which are French names.

... or Italian names such as Arturo, Gaetano (ok, so I really like this one and it has an Italian form too), Kajetan, Valerio, and Massimo (which is my Nono's name).

yeah, when I was younger Elly never seemed that popular but then when I went to high school I was one of 3 people with the name in my year, however with everyone else it's usually short for Eleanor or something, I've never met anyone called just 'Elly' and I never see it spelt the way I spell it either (I think my parents just wanted to make ot easier for people to turn it into smelly)

my parents were cruel with names! they named my brother Jack Jackson on a bet! he's never lived that down. People had songs for me and everything :( and I didn't even smell

my entire childhood consisted of 'smelly Elly' and 'are you related to Micheal Jackson?'

Im quite sure they could never have meant for that Elly! Youre a great person - as such I am positive that your parents simply cant have given to someone so wonderful, a name as nice as yours with that intention in mind. :)

Oliver is a good choice. My brother's name is Martin Oliver. He likes it because "O" is a rare middle initial.

I just went through the naming of son number 1. Hard to please everyone, but we settled on Alexander Benedict. I wanted traditional, but with a twist of uncommon.

Let's see...

Ever think of Phineas?
Lochlan? (meaning--- little lake)
Heironymous.... just kidding

My mother wanted Rocque (for the French Saint) or Laine.

Have fun with your son!
