Is there any way to play windows media files on mac computers? Is there some sort of codec or program I can download?
I'm not sure... You can try a google search for .wma codecs.

go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/software/Macintosh/osx/default.aspx
and download the MAC version of Windows Media
Well, that might be even better.

Its called "Windows Media Player"
