Here in southern alberta, i swear.

This week it has been about 60 to 70 F or about 15 to 20 C. Today we had a HUGE july type thunderstorm. Normally at this time of year its about 40F here.

OF course after this week of warm temps on sunday it will get up to 65, then start raining, then plummet to about 0F or about -15C in a single day.

I really think global warming is occuring either that are we are getting royaly teased with spring here and then BATCH SLAPED with really cold weather.

I always like to hear people from other parts of the world talk about how weird the weather is, i just laugh, where else but in southern alberta can you get 40C temp changes in one day? No thats not BS, really does happen...

Oklahoma is assaulted by Tornadoes in the Summer. That's almost enough to make you not live there!

Well, and the fact that it's pretty much a barren wasteland.

Anywhere that goes below 10C more than three times a year. I do not believe that temperatures below 5 exist.

Missouri has crazy weather. I saw people in shorts and sandals yesterday, and others driving around in convertibles (last night we had a thunderstorm), and then today it was windy with a high of 40 F (4 C).

A few weeks ago, we had a light dusting of snow, followed by weather in the 40-50 range.

Crazy weather....

Chicago. Yesterday, it was more than 60 degrees, and the sun was shinning. Today it snowed.

alberta weather laughs at puny missori weather, i cant wait till its 65 then 0 F in one day. Of course the opposite will occur, we will go into a deep freeze followed by great summer weather, its GREAT for the roads!

We've been having it a lot this year too...

Someone said it was because of La Nina?

Miami of Ohio. Though I did live in Florida for a while, the weather there was pretty consistent. Hard to screw it up with only 3 seasons.. ;)

Cheyenne Wyoming I have had times when we got struck by the biggest snow storm of the year and 70 degree weather in the same week mind you the 70s happened mere days after the storm plus this is one of the few places that 60 MPH winds are the norm at least that I know of
oh and it is far more likely that it will snow in the middle of summer then it will all winter

Well, I have lived in Calgary and so I know all about the crappy weather that people there enjoy on a daily basis - it was one of the reasons I was so happy to move back to beautiful British Columbia.

However, I've spent time in Colorado, and I know that they have the same type of weather flux. Being as that Missouri is in the same sort of locale, I could see there being the same type of weather patterns there - it's not an uncommon trend for that type of geographic location.

The only thing that Alberta has that states south of Montana dont really get as much, are the chinook winds - other than that there really isnt that much difference in the weather (granted, the chinooks can bring some gnarly changes to the forecast.)

Ohio, all the way.

We had snow last week.
Beautiful spring weather all weekend.
Incredibly windy weather today.
And we're supposed to have snow for the rest of the week.

That sucks. Ohio looks like a really nice place, but after reading that, it's become a no-go zone for me.

Adelaide gets either the hot dry northerlies off the desert or the cold wet southerlies off the Southern Ocean. To the best of my knowledge we are the hottest city in the world.

It's definitely a no-go place. Only reason I'm here is because I was born here. And most people who are born here don't escape until they're 70, at which point they move to Florida.

See, I was born in Florida, but had the misfortune of moving to Ohio in the middle of January. Smart planning. And I will never understand why people here never move away. Hell, I finally ship out June '06, and couldn't be happier about it.

Although it dropped to 13C one morning
