It seems there is a flow of departure to which I think I will jump on.
I am not one for simply disappearing without saying something. That is for any who care ;)
I have decided to depart from the boards for awhile if not for good. The interest has wained significantly since the elections. I originally stumbled on the place after meeting Maxx one day. He spoke of the "interesting" personalities that are here so I decided to check it out.
I took an interest in the place as it seemed to flex the brain cells from the typical day to day technoid life I live. I am also interested in hearing out peoples views from around the world on things as well.
As with any board, you have smart people, dumb people(me ;) ), interesting people, problem people and trolls.
Many of you are smart and interesting and there are those that are not. I am not saying it in a bad way. Just that some people are young and really haven't experienced the world first hand. That will change in time.
Over time I have seen the topics take a "Hollywood" route of creativity. The same arguement repeated again. The same people making the same argument again.
There is also the negativity factor. The pro-US people and the anti-US people. Sometimes you have to step back and look at yourselves and re-evaluate what you have to offer this backwater world of ours. As we see globalization rise, the barriors of countries are not as far as they used to be. The viewpoints of the world are different and you should look into what guides a viewpoint versus simply dismissing it. Even a garbage laden piece of tripe can have a pearl of wisdom burried in it. Everybody has a unique perspect to things and some may actually experience something in a way you can't.
I know I have probably done a few things like this. Nobody is perfect and you should realize this as well. I do try to avoid name calling and I do try to confess error when it happens. Don't forget that enlightenment comes from knowing you are an idiot! ;)
So people. Try to relax from time to time and talk about other things. Try to walk outside and look at that big blue thing up top with the yellow ball that hurts your eyes if you look at it! ;)
Try to ask questions instead of passing judgement.
