Hmmm, in Ohio Bush won by well over 100,000 votes, and the lefties had a cow over the results there. The networks refused to call the state for Bush long after it became clear that it was not in play any longer. Liberals in congress attempted to block the LEGAL certification of the vote in Ohio.

Meanwhile, in Michigan and Wisconsin, Kerry won by less than 15,000 votes. The media rushed to call these states for Kerry while the recounts were still anyone's guess, and even though allegations of rampant Dem corruption were still being investigated. The GOP decided not to challenge the very questionable results in either state.

Because they've served the sentence handed down by the judge. The loss of voting rights is separate from that sentence. Anyway, I didn't say the rights couldn't be restored, just that they had to petition the government for it. If they really want to vote again, it should be upon them to make the request. If they don't want to go to all that trouble to get the right back, perhaps we're better off they don't have it to excersise again, no?

The entire point of my post was to say that their rights aren't taken away forever. They can petition to have them restored. You should really pay attention to what's posted before you post your disagreement. And is it too much to ask to post intelligent questions? "Why?" just doesn't cut it.
