No. No. No. I went to Denny's for first time in like 3 or 4 weeks. And when I was leaving, the waitress hugged me.
Why? I do not understand this. Therefore, it seems weird to me.
She claimed it was because I gave her a tip, but seriously, I always leave tips. And none of the other waitresses ever hugged me for it. And I am sure that almost no one else has ever been hugged just because of a tip.
This is really really weird. And she did it even though I didn't hug her back(because she got a boyfriend and I'm not into that adultery stuff).
I am completely confused.

You were nice, she gave you a hug. Hugs aren't that rare on that side of the pond, are they?

Sadly, yes. Unwanted touching, even if it's just a hug, is called "Assault" in the US.

What the hell is wrong with you whittier, honestly.
A month or so ago you threw a fit about how "the age of consent should be 35 for women because they are psychopaths before that age who cannot make decisions"
Then went on to tell some story about being poisoned by some woman who was stalking you or something.
Now you're having a fit because a waitress at a denny's gave you a hug?
What is your problem with women?

this is kinda funny. one o fmy best woman friends, whom i met through my gf, hugged me the other day when i was back in town for valentines day weekend. but when i say hug, i mean, leap on and squeeze the life out of screaming "Nicky!!!!" her boyfriend, who showed up later, got a quick little squeez and a peck on the cheek. i dunno. made me laugh.

Hmmm...If the hug was out of friendlyness, it shouldn't matter. (Although it's bit awkward to be hugged by a random person.) If it was meant as a means of attraction...Then it is wrong, filthy, and disgusting.

Check for your wallet, keys, phone, anything that was in your pockets. You also might wanna take a few blood tests, she could've drugged the food. Check your plate carefully next time you eat, and if possible swap plates with someone she doesn't know. If you've know her for too long/said too much to her you might need to change your locks, maybe leave the country. [/blatent sarcasm]
As it says on my friends t-shirt, "f***in relax". Most guys would love to be hugged, few would freak as much as you have.

She wants your body. It's only "adultery" if one or both parties is married. Go with it! ROFLMAO!!
Hell I hug people all the time, well... everyone but the person I want to >.<
Just go with it, there is nothing malicious(?) in it, just a phisical display of friendship.

If it was just that the hug was unexpected, forget about it. Maybe she was just being nice and felt that you needed a hug.
If it really bothers you, as in you don't like being hugged by people you don't know very well, you can do what I do. If someone comes to hug me, instead of just standing there, I will pat their shoulder, say thanks and then gently push them away. To me, a shoulder pat is reciprocating the well-intentioned touch, but hopefully gets across the message that I don't want them THAT close.
Either that, or you can get a button made that says "no hugs" or "hugs" with a red slash through it. I am being serious, because I know people who really don't like to be hugged, and this gives folks fair warning. Plus, it's slightly more subtle than wearing something that says "Hug me and I'll kill you."

Nope. It's called "Battery." "Assault" is when an individual could have a reasonable expectation of immediate bodily harm.
