I've been called a snake in the grass and I have hair. I must be a hairy reptile. :D

I have a ton of hair. I figure about 145,000 strands on my head alone.

That's almost extreme, considering the average brown-hair has about 85,000 strands.

When I go to the barber (which is a rare occasion), the scissors *always* get stuck. I have many stylists tell me that they've never seen such thick hair.

And do I think of it as a burden? Hell no! It kicks ass. Sure, it takes longer to wash and dry it, but so what? It's thick hair!

Being 13, lol obviously yes. I love my hair. It's pretty long, but it won't grow down. It curls at the sides and the back. Stupid not straight...

I've got a lot of hair.
I try to keep it in good condition by cutting it but it keeps growing back.
I've thought about that wax-stuff... has anyone tried it?
Potaria
05-03-2005, 21:08
Don't use that wax crap, man. If you've got naturally long, thick hair, just grow it that way.

I keep my head hair very short. I keep my back hair in braids. :p

On a semi-related note, on a dare, I once shave some....um... very personal body hair. It was quite nice. I rather liked it. Until it started to grow back. Let me tell you; stubble sucks. :(

So you found out about *that* now, did you?

That's what you get for not shaving that every day.

I am currently growing my hair out again (I shaved it off in December.)
I currently have what is commonly called 'hockey hair' here in Canada (slightly shagged for those outside of the maple encrusted border) I have ample hair on my forearms and legs as well as an average amount under my arms - everywhere else is silky smooth save for a small and strategic amount of hair left down south to prevent as follows...

Don't ever shave that area with a razor!!! Owie!! They make 'male products' that you can buy almost anywhere to remove that - and it's much better for both of you to go without down there, just make sure and leave a little bit for show - or you run the risk of looking like a prepubescent little boy, not highly regarded as sexy.

Jason Alexander (the guy who played George on Seinfeld) started losing his hair at 16. Your hair loss rate is two years slower than his.

I have hair, and i'm quite fond of it. At the mo 'tis down to about almost-shoulder-length. It's kinda curly tho, so it's hard to tell really.

I don't intend to get it cut for a long time. Eventually tho, as soon as the first signs of serious bald spots appear, it's all going. All of it, perfectly smooth, billiard-ball-style, head-gleaming-in-the-sun, BALD. :D

Mine is very thick and dark brown and grows at an incredible rate. In a few years I'll start growing it long… now I need a "rock" smiley…

I might also grow a nice BEARD in a few years - but not now. Have you ever seen a 15-year-old trying to grow a beard?

All the smilies are bald. Would the "rock" one have a mullet?

Please?

Yes. Well actually, he started a month or so before his 15th birthday. He's 16 now, with a fairly substantial amount of beard. He's no Rob Zombie, but that ain't bumfluff on his chin no more.

Being a metal fan, I'm more likely to grow long hair… the two are linked, you see, and therefore I needed a "RAWK!" smiley.

Yes. My advice is to wait until you are a lot older. :) Oh, I know. Besides, we have a Deputy Head who is a reptile in disguise, and who hates hair. So I will have to wait for the metal styling. :)

With the beard I'm getting closer to the bass player from Queens of the Stoned Age or that dude from Anthrax....which would be fine if I was into rock.....

When it gets long enough its own weight will pull it in a more downwards direction. Apparently. I'm still waiting for this to happen. Personally i've just taken to wearing headgear more often.

Bugger. Then i have a longer wait than i expected.

Incidently, who loves bandanas? Not worn as a head band type thing, but proper pirate style? Best thing is, with my hair tied back, it hides most of my hair, so when i take it off i look like a completely different person. :D

Yeah, I got to much hair. My bangs cover half my eyes, and the sides cover my ears. And the back curls out and covers my neck. (I'm a boy, so this is long)

My dads always threating to cut it.

My hair reaches my shoulderblades, goes to my jawbone over my ears, and almost covers my nose. And, being a guy, I've been mistaken for a girl. But, that hasn't happened in years, since I've gotten much larger. It's amazing what a big upper body can do for you.

One thing i hate is feeling my hair on the front of my neck, when it falls forward. Unfortunately my hair isn't quite long enough to tie back in a ponytail, unless i'm wearing a bandana.

Plenty of hair, I even have a beard (but it's coming off soon).
