My doctors want me to explain to them how tired I am on an average day. For those who don't know, I have chronic fatigue nad insomnia. So I have many levels of tiredness. Could you help me come up with different levels? I nee descriptions for them, too. I'm not sure how many there should be.

Zombie/zoned.
Perfectly fine, until you lie down and then *clunk*.
Eye ache, otherwise normal.
Yawning a lot.
Hyper.
Chatty.
Can't be bothered.
Thoughtful.
Huh? (in one ear out the other)
Massive Caffeine injestion.
Just woke up.
Lucid dreaming/dozing/half-asleep.

I think that's all of them.

The level when everything is funny as hell, and randomness is to be expected.... also known as 3 a.m.

3 am is not a time, it's a state of mind.

Well, thanks! :( Yes, I am very tired. I do need suggestions on this though. I've been told by my doctors that I should know how I tired I am. I'm always tired. How can I feel such a difference day to day?

Thank you both - its nice of you.

In this case though, I think that the tiredness is a result of the sadness.

Sadness is like ivy, it grows over you slowly, eveloping you entirely and disguising any discernable features of what used to be. Until a day comes to pass when your feelings are engulfed in the dark shadow of of the endless night. Thats the kind of tired I feel.

Yeah, she tries sometimes - I think shes given up on me too though. Its hardly worth the effort - I think Im just perpetually sad - seems I go from one extreme to the other lately - I can't blame anyone for not wanting to be around that. Im just not feeling that good vibe anymore.

Its ok, Ill be alright - maybe Im just burned out from working too much and coming on here too often while doing it. Ive been neglecting the things that matter in life - Im stressed, bitter, confused and yes... tired. Theres no need to pay any heed to me right now - Im just rambling non-sensical blather.

We all need to vent sometimes. At least you have an outlet for it, otherwise emotions can get pretty nasty. It sucks that you're not your usual positive self, but I know you'll make it though.. :fluffle:

She cares, shes genuine like that - shes just been busy.

I wouldnt blame her if she was tired of hearing me go on about my sadness and the way things used to be either - it can get old pretty fast. Ive never known anyone to care the way she does though, and it must tax her greatly to be the sun all the time, warming everyone. After all, who warms the sun?

I feel that I need to take a step back, quit this selfish crap, and try to help out rather than be helped all the time. Other people have sadness and problems - what have I done for them? Perhaps I ought better to consider that. :)

Yes id hate to think her supplies of Hydrogen(Love) would run out one day i would love to keep her warm and protect her from the ills of the world.
I too need to grow up and help people instead of being helped.

Yes, there is. There's also 'slept so many hours that you're exhausted from sleeping', which I'm in currently. Ugh. Stupid body clock. It mocks me, you know. >.>

Sometimes I'm so tired, but I try to stay awake. After I've done that for 5 or 6 hours, I can't sleep even if I'm tired. That's where insomnia comes in.
