Who would you vote for in 2008 if the Democrat was Hilary Clinton and the Republican was Condolezza Rice? If a third party, or you dont live in the US, say who and/or where.

I don't know much about Condi, but I really don't like Hillary, so it's Condi.

I think those are two options that Ralph Nader will looooove to see.

wow, i thought the choices could never be worse than Bush v Kerry, but you have proven me wrong. if those were to be the options i would flee the country. i would try to flee the planet. perhaps i would be content to merely flee the solar system, while remaining in the same galaxy, but i'm not sure on that.

Australian, and I think y'all should vote a third party.

Condi Rice. I don't know much on her domestic policy thinking, but there are very few statesmen that are as fluid as Dr. Rice. She has practiced realpoloitik, Thatcherism, neoconservatism, and a whole bunch of others only when she feels the world needs it.

To you, everything is a bad choice.

Well, these are pretty probable choices, Hilary has recognition thanks to Bill, and Condi has been moving up the political line. Some experts think that Condi would win in an election, stealing some of the Demorcratic african american voters, a big portion of their support.

I'd vote for Condi just to keep Hilary out

i would probably do the opposite, i suppose, if i had to, since i at least haven't seen Hillary flat-out lie on camera. but if we've sunk to the point where those are our two best offers from the major parties then the country is already for shit, and i would just as soon leave before watching the remains of my nation degenerate past recognition.

Ugh. What a horrible choice.

There's one thing I've learned through all this democrat/republican bitchfesting circlejerk, the US is not exactly a country of politically mature and informed individuals. As such it's definitely not ready for a female president, and definitely not either of those two beast-things.

It's not ignorance. You knew my nation before me.

As to the first part, you have obviously never seen a politician
and the second, they are not neccessarily the best, but the most likely

Well think about it, last thing you need when your facing a possible nuclear war with North Korea and the entire Middle East is about to erupt into a war is a President that's PMSing and telling her Generals to piss off and leave her alone.

Given the options, I'd go with Rice. She'd have a solid circle of advisers, even if her skills are a bit specialized. I won't bag on Hillary right now, but let's just say I'm not a fan.

In reality though, Jeb's got his foot in the door already. Don't resist Jeb - you'll only feel sheepish and strung out when he's won.

Assuming that there are no good third party candidates, which always seems to be the case (must third parties have narrow platforms), I would have to vote Condi. I really don't care for either, but I dislike Hilary more then I dislike Rice.

However, I doubt either one would survive the primaries. I think the GOP would be looking for someone that is better than Bush, and I heard Rice seems to think alot like Bush. The Dems will probably still be trying to recover from 2004 and are probably more interested in getting more of the moderate vote, Hilary is just to devisive.

The part about third parties is true, but the GOP might pick Rice for the minority and female poll bonuses, though getting stuck as a running mate is possible for both. I think either party would benefit from saying "Look at us, we nominated a woman for president (and came closer than anyone before/and won), thats how concerned about women we are" (being politicians those would not be exact words)

I'm starting a civil war if we get a president named Jeb.
I'm starting another civil war if it's Jeb Bush.

Hilary Clinton! And I'm so excited, too. The next presidential election will be my very first opportunity to vote, and there will most likely be a woman on the ballot. Things are looking up for the world and females. :)
