School shootings have taken place long before Columbine or video games - it's just that in today's world, we hear about them instantly.

In the past, we didn't hear about them at all.

Using his logic (the idea that saving that one life is all that matters), we should ban soap, because it makes the shower floor slippery. Now, like Jack, I don't know how many people are killed in the shower every day, but to the parents, relatives, and friends of the victim of shower death, that's the only thing that matters.

Actually that sort of is the point since the same crowd inhabits both camps. They would absolve people of personal responsibility.

As an avid avid gamer I find this man's words to be extremly hurtful and mean. He made me cry.
