Dangermouse, besides being one of the best cartoons ever! is evidence that british cartoon writers of the time were constantly wasted. i refer in particular to the episode when stuff was being k-zonked into limbo.

I miss Danger Mouse and Penfold and the crew. We used to call a girl in my school Penfold because her real name was Penny. My young niece really liked the show as well.

Ahh, Dangermouse. It was on 10 minutes after school finished and we lived 15 minutes walk away.
Those sprints back home after school sure knackered me!

You can still catch it on one of the cable cartoon channels - can't remember the name of it but it's not Cartoon Network. I still love to watch it - you notice a lot more innuendo and hidden meanings within it as an adult. Brilliant stuff!
