Oh, yes. Let's eliminate religious diversity. There's a good idea. While we're at it, why don't we execute all fat people and anyone who doesn't think kittens are cute? [/sarcasm] Seriously, we can't afford too many more religious conflicts.
Personally, I think the world could do with fewer Christians, Muslims, and Mormons in the world. I think we'd be much more harmonious and moral people if there were more Wiccans, Buddhists, and Pagans around. They tend to be much more peaceful. Have you ever heard of a Buddhist bombing? I don't think so!

Well, I enjoyed your self-righteous little rant, but I would point out that the suggestion that episcopalianism - the religion that says it is okay not to believe in god if you don't feel like it, but you can still be a vicar - is so patently absurd it has to be a joke.
And I have heard of buddhists bombing, both in the Japanese millitary and as terrorists in Sri-Lanka.
Please go away and learn something about humor and the world.

*sigh* You completely missed my point. If I came off as being self-righteous, I apologize; that was not my intention. Nor was my focus to suggest that your religion is any less valid than the next nor to suggest that the religions I've named are without flaw or stupid people.
Rather, I was trying to point out that the approaches that many Christian, Islam, and other religions take - to supplant all other religions and thus make the world completely Christian, Muslim, or what have you - is itself ludicrous, and will only serve to divide us and set us upon each other in violence.

Believe me, most of us try to discredit the nutjobs at every opportunity, but often we all get classified in the same group as them.
I mean, I'm a liberal Roman Catholic, yet most of the time people equate me with , say, a Protestant evangelist.
