After you have created a thread, how long do you usually stay interested in it?
Also, why do you create threads and what kind do you like to make?
I lose interest in my own threads too quickly. I guess when they don't work out the way I intend I slink away from them in shame.
I tend to create threads in an attempt to be humorous. Most people don't find them funny and many to my consternation seem to take them seriously. Very frustrating. For example, I made a thread about banning scientists, a completely rediculous idea, and found I was being called a hypocrite for wanting to ban scientists and using a computer to do so.
I guess it is my own fault for failing at the attempted humor but am still shocked at some of the reactions.
