What in your opinion is the best kind of Asian food? It's a multiple choice poll, so you can vote for more than 1 best. I like Chinese and Japanese, but I cannot vote because I haven't tried it all. ;)

China is a big place, too. And a lot of the crap that gets served in "Chinese" restaurants here in the West isn't served in China.

My favorite single dish is raw salmon (sashimi) and my favorite type of Asian food is Americanized Chinese food (not authentic Chinese food).

I don't know if I'd use the word 'hate' but I agree with the statement otherwise, I dislike it when people feel the need to formulate opinions on topics which they have no basis for proper comparison. It makes me sad. :(

Asian food is awesome, but i especially like far eastern Asian food (ie. Chinese and Japanese... not so keen on korean though)

They're ALL good!
And yeah -- Indian food is very veggie friendly -- and so flavorful I don't feel 'deprived' by having a non-meat meal.

My favourite is definitely Indian, but I really like Chinese, Mongolian and Vietnamese as well. Amazingly, in a small city like this, we're quite spoiled for choice - and my love of these foods isn't helping my waistline, but it's just too good!

(#1 is french, as im sure you knew)
Burmese Green Tomato Salad is possibly the best dish I've ever had. The rest of their food is excellent as well, but the local food in most asian countries is fresh and very well done.

My aunt cooks some excellent Japanese food. I hated having to leave Hawaii(where she lives). They had excellent Chinese restaurants in Hawaii as well.

There are Turks in central Asia and northwest China too you know.
Tebasaki, yakitori, edamame, kitsune udon, tempura udon, nabe of all kinds, zaru soba and soba. Oishi desu!! Sashimi and sushi aren't so appealing but they are tolerable.

おいしい ---> oishii. BUt I agree, those foods are all delicious. Japanese food is my favorite, but Chinese is really good too. The only Korean food I've had was kimchi, but I liked it.
