A Sensible Proposal

In these troubling, confusing times it is difficult to pin the blame on someone. I think it should quickly and firmly be placed upon science! What troublemakers they are with their facts and theories and "raw data".
The sensible thing would be to oppress them and swiftly return to the dark ages. People were much happier then in their ignorance. They didn't know they could have a better life and so they lived contendedly.
No more underwear and we could all wear those cool one piece robes and sandels you see in the movies. It is amazing they could wear that stuff while tramping through the muck and mud. See, they were so much happier!
Ban science!! Live free from thought, logic and facts!! Revel and frolic in your muddy robes!
Is that a small troll living in your stomach? Oh yes, I think it is. . .

(The polls third choice should read, watch them breed.)

This thread is about as entertaining as a ice hockey game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the New Zealand All-Blacks.

Wait, I thought about that for a second and an ice hockey game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the New Zealand All-Blacks would be much, much more entertaining than this thread.

It isn't science where the problem lies, it is through the corporate applications of science.

The worst offender was the miniature timepiece. When watches could be carried in pockets and afforded by all, it was the deathknell of modern society.

Everything truly evil about the modern world can be traced back to the pocketwatch. *nod*

perhaps. . .perhaps. . .

I can see that by refering to science as "them" I have commited a tactical error. it should have been scientists. yes, scientists, thats the ticket.

I take it you live in a cave, mortally afraid of the merest thunderstorm, while eating raw meat off an animal's rotting carcass, which you found lieing about abandoned... No? Begone, thou hypocrite! Denounce the products of the science thou denouncest, or cease denouncing the science behind the products thou usest!

Oh hell, he's a supreme hypocrite for POSTING THAT HERE.

Think about all the science that was needed to get to the point where you could post your opinion on a virtual stickyboard that anyone else could see.
