NationStates Jolt Archive

I have made the decision (albeit reluctant) to leave NationStates, due to personal reasons and less-personal reasons such as the fact that I have had way too many down-periods for RPing than normal in a person/nation. It took me around 3 days to come to this decision, the "isolationist" thing was a test to see whether I should stay - in fact, I hoped maybe people would then offer to start a new RP with me, but they didn't. Most likely the absence is temporary, I'll be placing my nation on vacation-mode just in case I do come back, but if not, then hmm. Goodbye? Obviously that's not sufficient, but...I'm sorry, I don't know what else to say to such a great group of people. I should be gone by tonight (again, most likely for a while, but not too long). It's more that I need time away from something so busy as this when I have quite a bit of trial in my life already, than I am bored with it, but the latter is most definitely helping the decision.

However, I'll still be participating the U21 World Cup 13, but withdrawing from WC22.

A few shout-outs:

Sarzonia, Roach-Busters, Euroslavia and Canada - Obviously my best friends from this experience. Thanks for always being around IC and OOC to support me and welcome Pacitalia into your various endeavours. Glad to have you guys on my messenger lists.

Hamptonshire, Praetonia, Comatica and other close allies who I can't remember at the moment - It was an honour to be your ally IC and great to be your friends OOC.

People in the various alliances - I hope Pacitalia served you all well and was a valuable ally in your various causes and fights. If I come back, I'll be more than happy to rejoin these alliances and remain a part of the international community as such. Good luck.

Well, I can't say that I really got to know you all that well - perhaps I should have. Heres to hoping you come back so that I can get the chance!

I don't think there are a great many of us West Coast Canucks in here. Nice to meet someone so close though. BTW, do you wakeboard? I was wondering what its like riding on Deas -- looks a little scummy but I may just be desperate enough to try it come spring if I can't make as many trips into the Shuswap this year! :)
