My nation is unfortunately a reflection of my views in the most radical extreme. :rolleyes:

It is very socialist and apparently my citizens like that. It doesn't seem to me that there really is a national economy. I'm trying to change that, but in careful moderation. Everything needs to be balanced, it shouldn't be too capitalist. My citizens are very busy people they have given birth to 23 million babies in the last two days!

I started out just trying to create the most evil dicatorship possible(I killed whenever possible), but I eventually started to try to bring it around to capitalism, though my income tax is still at 72%(grr, stupid wealth redist.) My goal is to get the taxes down to about 10 to 15 percent, if that high.

Don't pay attention to the "population meter"! It makes no sense that it would grow so fast. Instead, make up your own population for yourself. Like I said, my "So called population" is over 1,000,000,000, but I set it at 45,000,000. Why? Because the NS population counter is stupid. It is really for telling how long the nation has been playing here, not to RP with...

Basically how I've planned it to be, a corporation controlled state with a solid economy (which is all that matters to the higher powers) and where no one is truly free.

The people are united under it with propaganda that tells them they should all work towards the betterment of the nation and only consider themselves tools for this purpose.

Considering doing an rp (my first) on how the nation got this way, I'm developing a story in my own mind but whether I will ever run with it *shrugs*.

It would be more for show and to test out my writing ability if I did it rather than for any form of progression in the game. At the moment its an imperialistic/WWI style war of unification between multiple states that used to make up the area the nation currently holds with, of course the consumerist super state winning out in the end.

The nation itself though doesn't reflect any of my political values, is in fact quite the opposite, but I thought it would be fun to be a grand over fiend XD

This is not the real world, and the amount of time passing in NS per day is not set rigidly. Its commonly percieved tobe one year a day as it were, as im sure oyu are well aware. We started out as a dictatoriship but in the tiem around the first regional war, there was a revolt and the people took over, starting a democracy. This led to a part of our country being lost to separists... We have evolved since into a socialist democracy.

The nation is a Dictatorship and I am trying to have a strong government who look after the people and offer a balance between Communism and Capitalism. Well...I have the crazy dream of someday being an author (please don't all laugh at once.
