Forget the Bonds, my favorite "Bond" is the Beautiful Aston Martin DB5.

Eh... it's obviously Sean. Brosnan second.
Besides. Goldfinger rules all. And so do all the other bond movies with mr Connery in them.

Pierce Brosnan definitely. Sean Connery kicks ass but his head is too round.

No David Niven option, eh?

Roger Moore was the Bond I knew and grew up with, so I would used to go for Roger Moore as my favourite Bond. But then I saw the Sean Connery ones, so my favourite Bond is Connery.
In order of ranking:
1. Sean Connery (Great one liners)
2. Roger Moore (The early films, great stunts, Moore played it for laughs, but was great)
3. Pierce Brosnan (He made Bond cool and sophisticated again)
4. David Niven (Played for laughs, funny.)
5. George Lazenby (Dull. Boring. Was in the most boring bond film ever made 'Her Majesty's Secret Service', the highlight being the theme tune.)
6. Timothy Dalton (Made Bond too much of a worry wart and bland. No character whatsoever. Dull, dull, dull.

Sean Connery is just hilarious because of his thick accent, so vote for connery

Its justified though - Bond is as any fule kno half-Scottish half-Swiss, even if he did grow up in England.

Which doesn't really explain the thick Scottish accent at all

Definitely David Niven!

Right! A poll without Niven is like a body without ah ...

Well, presumably he got it from his father before he died when James was 11. As far as living in England after that goes, it was only for about a year or so (between the ages of 11 and 13) that he spent at school in England - for the rest of the time he was at school in Edinburgh, although he may well have spent his holidays with his aunt in Kent.

Dalton, just because I like Licence To Kill, and because he deserves more votes than Big Fry (Lazenby).
Seriously though, Connery is the best, Brosnan second, Moore third.
Anyone know who the next Bond is going to be?

Without a doubt, Connery, no one else even comes close in my opinion. He was the very essence of that role, and as such born to play it.

Connery, hands down. Dalton gets honorable mention. After that, who cares?
Roger Moore! He's so funny!
Goldfinger is the best film, Brosnon was the coolest bond, funniest and most stylish. Connery was closer to the books (I know that Moore was supposed to be the closest but he's a black hole of charisma) and I like the change between the first few (were Bond is more of a detective) and the newer (rabbbiisshh plotting, cheesy one-liners and class stunts/girls  /gadgets).

Ya know, I've heard this a lot, but having read a lot of Fleming, I just don't see it. Moore is practically slapstick, and it seems like his Bond flicks are more inspired by "Smokey and the Bandit" than by Fleming (see, e.g., friggin' Sherriff J. W. Pepper.)

i don't watch a lot of Bond, but i've seen the old Connery films, and tho he's not pretty (like Brosnan) he's good.
connery pwns all other bonds
