i love it when that happens. I get a lot of stuff about my tax rates even though my taxes ahve been constant at 100 percent for about a month.
Does it only happen when you have been playing for a while?
No, it happens whenever the things mentioned in the script for the legislation and the script for the stat come into contention.
You still have an impressive police force, but it says they're going down the bogpipe because that's the only thing it's programmed to say.

I got a kick out of this completely unamusing quote:

Because usually when I got that, that was because - oops, I restrained the other freedoms too much!
...but currently, I got bored of running a "good" nation, turned it into a corrupt dictatorship, but haven't gotten enough civil-rights-issues to stamp out civil rights yet ;)

I agree. It is very funny. My nation's population was at 64 million yesterday now it's 81 million. These people need to slow down!
