I'm naked right now.

I think that best sums up my opinion on nudity.

In my bedroom, anything goes.

Outside my bedroom, just have a little respect for others.

i'll agree with that.

Although I am a Christian, and such a thing would probably be considered immoral...I have a generally liberal attitude towards it.

That said, I don't have the greatest body in the world, yet I'm mostly unashamed of my body. I don't go totally nude in public, but on several occaisions, I've come close *coughcheetahthongcough*

The only thing that I worry about is that other people might become offended by my scantily clad self :p

Nudity is fine as long as you're not forcing someone to see things they don't want to see. That said, it isn't a huge deal to me.

I think nudity is great, but I also believe it should be kept in the privacy of your own home.

It's ok, unless said nude person regularly eats at Old Country Buffet and is over 30.

I'd love if especially well-built men (and for the heteros also girls), were allowed to walk around naked. I'd have a great day every day, watching them human beauties strut their stuff without the problem of "morality". We're all born nude and we leave the world nude, so I see no problem with people being nude. Though it is an issue of aesthetics - I'd rather see a young, muscular man nude than an old, tattered and possible even fat guy. But if people were allowed to be nude in public, I'd have to deal with this sight everytime... hmm no thanks :p

Well ok then for the benefit of seeing beautiful humans naked (in summer at least), I guess I'm for it.

I say, if you want to walk nude, you have to pass a test.

Let's face it - most people no one wants to see naked, and most people don't want to be seen naked. In the absence of an objective aesthetic standard, more people are served by mandating some level of clothes rather than not.

It is less about me being a prude and more about me liking people and not wanting to cause psychological damage (or possibly damage their sight on a bright day since I'm pretty pale).

Oh... and I kinda like the idea of other people staying covered up. Why? Because imagination is often so much better than reality.

umm. well, i was plannign on going out in a blaze of glory and bullets, but i wasn't planning on doing it nekkid. seriously, i, personally, don't dig on the argument that we leave the world naked. Most people don't die naked. even if you make it to the deathbed, you're gonna be in a hospital gown, or pjs or something. I guess you're naked when your Occidio Multus-types go to town on ya, but still.
hmm. maybe, for my funeral, it'll be open casket, but the only open part will be my naked crotch. that way, poeple will narvel at my (fully rigor mortized) member and weep at the majesty. :D

Nudity is great as long as it isn't slutty nudity. There is a difference for example in society today if two people take a bathe together its automatically related to sex though I can honestly say I've bathed with people nonsexually.

Having been to germany and experienced nudity of all kinds, fat, thin, big, small, wrinkled, flacid,turgid, freckley, yellow,old, young...It was shocking at first but soon I became accustomed and then it was nice to be free, so much so, that I'm seriously considering setting up a nudist camp here in prudish England - where people care if you wear clothes. Part of the problem is that many people feel the need to express themselves through clothing and once you take away the superficial material they become meer mortals just like the rest of us.

Our bodies are part of who we are, whether clothed or nude. Most nudes of female and male bodies give the human form a degree of nobility, IMHO.

My opinion, 'eh, whatever'.

You want to be nude, take it off. You want to wear clothes, put them on. Whatever.

Stating that nudity is immoral is akin to saying that breathing is immoral.

As long as they keep their clothes on, I don't care now naked they are. ;)

I had similar experiences to Kathryn, though I have no desire to set up my own nudist camp in this country. Broadly speaking though, I'm all for nudity and think it should be encouraged.

In my own opinion, i'm all for people being naked, if they want to then yeah, go for it, whoo naked people! However, while i support peoples right to be naked, i don't think i'll be joining the nudist brigade any time soon. To me my body is a very personal thing, to be shared only with a well-chosen few. It makes it more special.

Plus i'm pretty sure the world at large doesn't really want to see me naked, so both me and the world are happy. :)

I say depends on where you are. It would be more than a little distracting to walk down the street and see a guy or gal in the nude. The human body is natural, but I don't think nudity lends itself to getting things done.

It's great when I'm with my wife or by myself (shower, hottub, sleeping...). It's immoral otherwise.

Public nudity is unhygienic because people will get their filthy sweat everywhere.

I don't have any problem with it. Legalizing nudity would give people some more motivation to exercise in order to be able to use the right without embarrasing themselves.

I have a personal bias (and I know it) against exessive fat, whether it can be helped or not.

What about practicality? I livein wisconsin...not the land of nudists, especially in winter. Also, i really only like my penis, dont wanna see anyone elses. Third, too many naked girls is an overload.

It's fun. ANd funny. I'm of two minds about this:

One, I don't think it's fair to end up getting a criminal record for a little public nudity.

On the other hand, if it were totally legal, it might become too commonplace and nobody would be shocked and amused when I streak their church. :)

Though considered by some to be inhumane, I oft feel that primeval drive to release myself from these societal bonds of cotton and polyester, frolicking free and incredibly naked across a field of pastel-colored wildflowers--the smell of lylac and vanilla seeping through my pores.

My only issue is people not covering their drippy parts... I don't want to sit in a puddle of someone else's posterior fluids... just not sanitary. Also should make sure kids don't die of exposure.

It's funny you mentioned this as at nudist colonies, one needs to carry a towel to sit on.

If you go to a sauna then there are more than 2 people naked.

Once I was in Germany in a sauna and the old ladies there (the Hyatt in Cologne had only a mixed sauna) threw an American out who didn't want to get out of his swimming trunks.

Personally I don't think this should even be a morallity issue. Nudity is a natural thing and it was the "church" that made it dirty. I'm not saying we should all be able to walk around in the nude when ever we want but in certain environments it should be acceptable.
