There have been lots of Bible Code threads on here. From what I understand most of this stuff is explainable and completly coincidental. For example, one researcher found similar "doomsday prophesies" and such using Melville's "Moby Dick." It didn't say if the man used a Hebrew translation, which I think is key. Is it the book or the language?
Why 2011? It's always been my understanding that 2012 was the big year. This is based on the fact that the Mayan calendar, which pretty much every expert has said is the most accurate calendar ever created by humans, ends.
You also should understand that one man's armageddon is another's happy day. Most people in the Western world have this notion, which has been preached at us by the church(es), of global destruction and the end of the world. There are others who believe that this time simply marks an end of an age, with the subsequent birth of another, with some kind of "shift in global consiousness." Wow, I never thought I would actually write the cheesy words "shift in global consiousness" but there it is.
Anyway that's what some people believe.
Hope this helps.
I don't really have time to get into it all now.
I honestly didn't even get through the whole link. I just saw "Bible Code" and figured I'd give you this response.

And in 2112, a man will find a guitar, and try to change the world. He fails, however, and kills himself behind a waterfall.

Well, I, ah, give no credence to the bible code. The method they use to find messages is tricky and odd. I give it no credence.

The Rapture occured last April. OBL was the only one who followed The Lord's code perfectly, and thus, he was the only one sucked up to paradise.

As I understand, it's a lonely, bitter place, since The Authority is a bigger, more powerful genocidal maniac and his only company. Things tend to work out in the end.

This is the best premise ever-that the rapture would occuor and all it really does is send zealots to a place that's just as crappy as what their working for and we get to live our lives. Fantastic! I'd like to subscribe to your ideology, where do I send my donations?

About the Mayan calamity crap:

In the Mayan calendar the 21st or 23rd of December of our year 2012 is indeed marked as the end of a 'sun', which is one cycle of "long count". This just means the end of a long time unit about equal to 5126 years. Then the next one starts. It's as trivial and random as the start of a new millennium, say. Why else would their calendar contain a unit projecting about 63 million years into the future, by the way?

 And if you take my birthday date, multiply it by 7145.23, then take the first 7 figures, divide those by 17.31, add the result to the present year and read the number in reverse you get the formula for Gorgonzola!
Boy, am I special.

You ask for no raging fanatics after posting that link?

You might as well ask for no raging fanatics at a re-enactment of the Darrow trial.

The "Bible code", the "Da Vinci Code", John Titor, Nostradamus and all that ilk are just BS and those who believe in it are deluding themselves.

Darn! You beat me to it! But, yeah, it's like saying that since our years are written with only 4 digits the end of the world will come on 31st December 9999.

Same with the Mayan calendar. It ends in December 2012, but what the Mayans would have done is simple add another digit in front. I'm sure they would also be laughing hard at us.
