In fact, I am actually south of many people along your north-eastern border (the plains) and most of New York/Maine, etc.

And yes, I do have a radio, as well as a state-of-the-art computer, a TV in my room, a full sterio setup (with a radio, yes) and several other goodies. Probably more than you could aford in your little redneck town.

But hey... William Shatner! C'mon! Why would anyone need to apologize for him. Did you even look at http://www.khaaan.com/ ?!? Downright brilliant! :D

Shatner is a phenomenon; to have survived in the business for so long just due to the "twinkle in his eye". And after that returning with fantastic self-irony in Showtime. His "directing" Eddie in front of the mirror was IMO best stuff in Showtime (which I don't praise as a comedy).

Keep bringing up examples. Generalizations are dull - they take the fun out of the discussion. I don't like generalizations in general. ;)

You take that BACK!!! I refuse to apologise for Drew Carey! Whose Line is it Anyways makes me laugh my ass off! And even if you think Whose Line is something to apologise for, Colin Mochrie is Canadian, so technically it's partially their fault .

England may have given us the Spice Girls, but they also gave us Monty Python and Douglas Adams. Those two entities alone would make up for the Spice Girls times twenty.

O-Zone are A: Romanian, so I don't see what they've got to do with Canada OR the US and..
B: They're really not a boy-band, they're a Euro-dance/novelty act.

And although I do agree Canada owes everybody an apology for Celine Dion, you gotta admit American boybands are the worst tbh. :P

Canada doesn't need to apologise for Celine, the americans that make it profitable to stay here need to apologise for making it profitable for her to stay. If you'd just get your moms to stop buying the albums and tickets to that show she'd go away and it wouldn't be an issue. It seems to me that Canadians had the good sense to ignore her so she came down here.

Shatner is entertaining, if not always for the reason he intends. Free Enterprise makes me have a warm spot for him. It should have been a tv show, it would have been great.

Really, who needs to appologise is the lowest common denominator. It's those bastards that are really causing the problems....

'Freethinkers' implies somebody who thinks what they want, without constraints of any types.

An imperative is an order or command and implies that the noun (in this case freethinkers) have to obey it.

He has also violated the freedoms of US citzens be passing the USA PATRIOT ACT which allows Federal Agents to search one's house WITHOUT A POLICE WARRANT!!!
Bush is also a liar. He said that Iraq had direct ties to AL Qeada, and that Saddam's regime was trying to develope weapons of mass destruction!! He started the Iraqi war for the oil that is there.
IF the US apologizes for King George Bush's actions, then Canada will apologize for Celin Dion and other offences to the entertainment industry.
