IC: *Gene took a small band of clouds in the southern hemisphere, turned it into a major snowstorm, and swooped it up all the way up through the tropics, and had it smash into a hurricane.*

You know, the other day, I noticed that the planet had a really strong magnetic field, and, on Aurea Borealis anyway, the Auroras are bright enough to be seen even in the day. Lemme show you.

OOC: It is a sort of 3D planetarium program, where you explore the solar system and beyond, and even create your own solar system or add planets to existing stars. It's quite complicated, however. For textures, you use a separate paint program (photoshop or paint shop pro, or something), and draw your own planet surface, and place it in a folder so Celestia (http://www.shatters.net/celestia) can place the map on a globe. There are a few programs that can make planet textures for you if you don't know how, are a beginner, or are just too lazy :D. Aurea Borealis uses one of those program-generated textures. I did the clouds and the auroras myself, but for the clouds, I just took an earth clouds (one from the internet) file and just plopped the auroras on the cloud map.

And for the record, auroras (on ALL planets no matter where you go in the universe) don't appear as dots. They appear the same as they do on earth and in the pic I just showed you. ;) EDIT: Except that they usually don't appear in the daytime, except on Aurea Borealis.

Actually, I"m not a cook. I just make simple meals, like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, place some macaroni and cheese in the microwave, etcetera.
