Yet another abortion thread!
As I see it, the abortion issue hangs entirely on when that lump of cells in a woman is considered a person. So where do y'all stand on this here question? The way I see it, a lump of cells lacking a developed nervous system that feeds on the energies and resources of it's host so that it can grow while causing terrible pain for said host is not a human. It is a parasite.

We have 3 of these threads going on at any given time! This is just gonna serve a more ammo for trolls!

It's probably human within a month or so.
Still, it doesn't matter. No one dies if I snort heroin, sell weed or have sex with a 17-year old.. in fact, there's probably no victims at all. Doesn't mean we can't regulate those behaviors though.

I don't like how feminazis like to dehumanize the issue by referring to fetus's as "it" and as "parasites" and trying to make abortion sound casual, a non-issue.
But I do support the right to chose to abort before a certain time. Whatever that time is. Heh!

For the most part I'm against abortion (exceptions being rape, mother's life at risk), but I still don't want it banned. Abortion is a Catch-22 issue:
*It's Illegeal: Even if it's illegal that probably won't stop it from happening. Women would then go to unsafe back-alley abortion clinics, and then they're both she and her fetus are in medical danger. :(
*It's Legal: Abortion is legal, obviously - something I dislike :(
I have no problem with abortions carried out during the first trimester (and *probably* the second trimester) of pregnancy - for whatever reason/s. It is the woman's right to decide and I fully support that.
Not every abortion is going to be ethical, I think it depends on the circumstances underwhich the choice is made. But none the less, we aren't killing a person and therefore it's not murder. We are killing a clump of cells that are no more developed than a frog. The embryo is a potential person, and we cannot confuse potentiality with actuality. I place higher value on the life of the mother, whose personhood cannot be denied.
I’m unsure about the third trimester (unless it’s to save the mother’s life). Isn’t 1-6 months long enough for a woman to have got an abortion?
