Ok, here's an interesting issue for everyone. What would happen if we had some of Jesus' DNA and cloned him? Would he be divine? Or would he be just a human?

I'm not really sure. He was Jordanian and of Hebrew descent. Probably an olive brown color skin with dark hair (possibly red tinged) and dark eyes, I'd imagine about 5'10, thin, well toned from working as a carpenter in the days before power-tools .... *drool* ... Jesus was hot! *lol*

It's possible. Moses was most likely black and Abraham was probably rather dark himself, though Abraham would have been more Persian/Arabic in appearance, I imagine.

There was a B-sci fi movie about this. There was this guy trying to clone Christ using the blood on one of the nails used to nail him to the cross. Only he was going to mix his [very evil] genes with Christ's. And it was gonna be the Anti-Christ.

Something to do with an Indian love god. Don't ask me.
Anyways, if you cloned Jesus you'd have damaged genes and he'd have to be made into a cyborg and he'd become Mecha-Jesus 2.0 like the 53rd son my friend is planning to have (in addition to a 52nd son just named Jesus and the other 51 being different spellings of Jeff including one spelled Susie who's going to be a cross-dressing penguin.

Jesus was described to have copperish skin when I last read the Bible.
That doesn't say much about his desendencey, however, it clears THAT issue up.

By the by, being dark, and being considered black by most people in modern society, particularly American society, are two very different things. The genetic background of Jesus, if you believe certain (recently and legitimately challenged) scientific theory, had African heritage, but so do we all based on that same theory. Without being a subject matter expert, the odds are with Jesus having been of middle eastern decent - Hebrew, Arabian, North African, Southern European... probably like most of us mutts.

The reasoning that Jesus was black seemed to come from the concept that somewhere the bible says he was descended from Moses, who was probably black and just posing as jewish so he could lead a rebellion and get into Neferetitti's pants.
