No, they aren't Grrrrrr-eat!

Y'know the frosting? Yeah, when the flakes go into milk, the frosting loses it's flavor and melts into the milk.

I had a blueberry Nutrigrain Bar. I overslept, so I had to leave in a hurry, and didn't have time to make myself anything, so I just grabbed one and left for prison.

That's why you put the milk first and make them float.

It's such a weird feeling, putting the milk in first before the cereal. Try it. :D

A nice hearty bowl of porridge with raisins. Brown sugar on top and heated milk.
Great way to start the day.
Especially if your day started at 11.30am like mine did today.

They're a great snack, but i don't hold with putting milk on cereals... i know it's the traditional thing to do, but they lose their flavour...

No, heheh, try it and you'll see what I mean.

It doesn't feel right. It's like you're transgressing some law of physics. The milk just can't go in first, it simply doesn't, but it just did...And then you start eating it, and it feels even weirder...like eating it back-to-front, almost...

That would be eating them before you put them in the bowl...

Just ate a Quaker bar, and had an apple an hour ago if that counts as breakfast. Only ate the apple cos I wanted a drink

Ok, Ill give it a go the next time I eat dry cereal :)

Now, a question for you about weirdness concerning eating habbits and food that is served in bowls...

When you eat soup/cereal etc. do you slide the spoon in edging away from yourself, or towards yourself? I go away from myself, such that the back of the spoon is facing me and have been told more than once that this is a strange habbit - Apparently it is more common to edge the spoon in towards youself and keep going in that sort of fluid motion... hmm.

It is more polite to lean your bowl away from you and spoon in that direction.
I'm odd and go sideways...or just chase my food around the bowl.

Hmm, towards myself, unless i'm eating porridge, which I usually don't, mostly because it's disgusting. But I find It's easier to hold the thick goo on the spoon if you slide it away from yourself. Or maybe i'm just weird. :p

Though one thing I do is refuse to hold the spoon in my right hand, even though i'm constantly told it's impolite/improper/poor etiquitte. I can't eat with my right hand. I'm left handed, and if that offends people, then they shouldn't watch me eat. :D

So long as you arent making all sorts of horrible noises and practically throwing the food at your mouth I find no offense to it - much less to eating with your left hand, I don't even understand how that could be considered rude!! :p

Well, even if I am making horrible noises and spilling food everywhere, I usually eat alone, so who's to worry? :D
