TIN needs a new PC before may, anyone willing to help (clicky (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=400537))? If you wanna help and have a paypal account, and £10 (US$ 19, €15) to spare (to donate to the "TIN's New PC Fund), post here!

ps: hope you don't mind TIN - thought i'd find out if anyone will help rather than speculating any further.

I might be able to secure you a very old, and unreliable computer.

Would that help?

Otherwise sowwy... try begging to your parents.. tell them "if you don't buy me a computer, i'll hold my breath until i die!" Then run out crying! If it worked when your little, why not now?! :D

I can cobble a PC together out of the spare parts in my room and sell it to him for £30. It'll handle Win 98 and broadband, and he might even get to play Diablo 2. But that's about it. And I don't have pay pal.

He should get one made out of recycled computer parts. Mine is. It costed $500. I think that's about 1,000 euros. It may be over 3,000 miles but it still works. :)

TIN doesn't have a Paypal account does he? And I kind of remember you saying that it takes about a month to make one. Wouldn't it just be easier for everybody to mail the cash?

he can set one up quicker than a month, but it requires a little proactive effort on his part. plus, i have offered to handle the donations using my account and transfer them to him

Maybe we can try to prove his poorness. Bill Gates gives away computers to the poor.

I guess I would give him a tenner, if I had a Paypal account. I've actually been meaning to get one, but it will still take a while and I'm not sure if I can really be bothered...

or if he isn't, maybe if someone who has paypal gives me their address I could send them a tenner

Hey, we've got until May. Plenty of time for people to join Paypal, or for fund raising efforts (bathtub full of beans, anyone?).

Yeah, although I like TIN, I would rather not do a fund raising activity involving horrible pain. Plus I want to keep my beautiful leg hair. *strokes luxurious leg hair*

a dollars not worth much these days is it. :)
I think TIN should gather his meager funds and buy a cheap recycled job.
