Lordi: Blood Red Sandman is an excellent song i've been listening to recently - its on the CD of the current issue of Metal Hammer.

other than that, it depends on what you're into already. could go for thrash (in which case i reccomend Exodus, Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultrua, Testament (my favourite) or Anthrax), could go for my other favourite: grindcore (Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Bolt Thrower). would post more but i got to do some work :headbang:

If you have Ares, you can just search for Reise Reise by csearching only in audio, then putting the album name in the search field and nothing else.

"Coerced Coexistence", off of their disc Colony

Oh yes. Colony is by far their finest album. My personal favorites are the title track and Insipid 2000.

If you're into Folk metal, then I recommend Finntroll. Aldhissla, Vätteanda, Skogens Hämnd, Rivfader - all great songs.

Edit : Almost forgot Bathory. I especially like the later albums. Vinland, Ring of Gold, Vinterblot, The Lake, Valhalla immediately come to mind.

Dragonforce - Valley of The Damned
Iron Maiden - The Thin Line Between Love And Hate

...(etc)

Now, there's a list. I'd recommend "Join the Army" by Suicidal Tendencies and "Do it" by Rollins Band. But maybe those are hardcore.

Theres been alot of good suggestions so far, but let me throw some classics from Black Sabbath into the mix so you can have a full spectrum of metal music.

Black Sabbath
Paranoid
Iron Man
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Heaven and Hell
Symptom of the Universe
Supernaut

In fact, you should just buy the "Reunion" cd which will give you some high quality, modern, live versions of those classics.
