However, the real reason is I don't have a modname. It's quite simple. Jordaxia is not a modname. typical modnames end in stan, or are a concept or are quite surreal, or all three. Cannot think of a name is too long. But otherwise is perfect. The only other modname in this thread is steel butterfly. Very few mods have names that don't fit into the modname category. The only one I can think of is GMC military (last word forgotten)

A lot of the time my name gets shortened to CToaN on the rare occasion that people adress me. Not that I would make a good moderator.

Since my name is honest, I like most of the names here. Makes me whish I had thought of at least something. Walrustopia, Walrustan, Walrusia, Upper Northern Walruczechislot. Grover's Mill, that've been cool. Peroquial Walrusian Naropian Denoplia, so my initials would be PWND. dammit.

There are some names that made me laugh out loud the first time I saw them, but I don't know them off the top of my head. I like Lunatic Goofballs, it lets you know what you're up for. Legless Pirates gives me the same impression.

I don't know how cool my name is, but I rather like the fact that it sounds like an authentic name for a sovereign state.

I don't remember who said they had trouble coming up with names, but I know I've given up on coming up with names and now I just use the handle of Sir Unimaginative.

I like names that play on actual nation names. Stanistani and Lithuanighanistania come to mind. (I think they've both passed into the great beyond, though.)

I also like names that evoke an image: Bodies without Organs, Legless Pirates, and yes, Itinerate Tree Dwellers fit that bill.

Theres a commune of Vietnam draft dodgers near where I grew up in BC (a lot of them without power or running water!!) Basically hippies still lost deep in the sixties, they grow a lot of dope, have a 'harvest fest' in autumn, and yes - name their kids all sorts of unusual names. For example, some I went to school with: Rainbow, Willow, Free (you get the point)... I love the names for their originality, but I can't imagine anyone with names like that ever landing a serious job (not that they were brought up with any emphasis on that anyway!) :)
