This program is awesome. It's...
Well, it's a thingy that shows Earth, and you can zoom in and stuff. It was in Wired Magazine, and I can't figure out how to make it do the really cool stuff yet, but it still rocks.

It's too bad it's almost a 200 meg download... All the add-on packs are massive too.

Agrh, I can't seem to get it to connect to their servers properly at the moment. That would explain why it's not working. So for me, it's mostly a big cool 3D map.

Grr, I wanna do cooler cool stuff too.

Son of a bitch!

World Wind comes with data you can zoom into. After a certain point, World Wind will begin to download more images automatically. The servers hosting this information are very busy and may be unresponsive until we get the necessary infrastructure.
So that's why I can't access it!

Damn you, 56k... damn you... much as I'd love to get this... it's those two numbers and letters that ruin it... I can't be bothered leaving my pc on for so long to get it.

Grr. The awesomeness isn't happening, since I haven't yet been able to connect with their servers...
:(

False-alarm for awesomeness. It doesn't work properly.

This program is the coolest thing ever.

oh, and if you keep getting the "cannot connect, retrying in 2 mins" or whatever message, there's a patchy-thingy at the website. But yeah, I've spent hours and hours just looking at stuff. I had it before they had the landmarks in it, so I actually had to hunt down stuff like the pyramids.

Get it.
Use it.
Love it.

Oh, and get blockland too. That game is killer: www.ageoftime.com/blockland
