I'd have to go with Elf or Paladin, because I find that...oh, wait, are you talking about school? *panics and hides dice*

Definitely History.

I assume that you mean, "Which school class do you most enjoy?"
If this is what you mean, my answer still depends on other variables. My favorite class among the one's I am taking now is study of popular culture. My favorite class among all the one's I have taken so far in college is discrete mathematics. My favorite class of all the ones I have ever taken was sociology during my Junior year of high school.

I am a fan of the Legged-class ships, such as Archangel and Dominion. The Izumo-class Kusanagi is also really cool.

But Latin interests me the most.

Way back some 30-odd years ago, it was.

fair enough, my knowledge only goes back some ten or so years...

and i'd probably have to say bard, cause they're a bit of everything. Plus they get to randomly start singing in battles.

SecuritySystemInterface. It was way easier to code than the others; just sticking in a bunch of calls to other classes from button clicks. :p

Insecta is best, hands down. Arachnida, Chilopoda, and Diplopoda would follow. Hymenoptera is the best order, followed by Isoptera and Orthoptera.

I say that Science wins my heart here. This year I have been studying Marine Biology and now Human Genetics. Next year I am going to be swamped... Physics, Chem 1, Anatomy and Physiology (Though I am not thrilled about cutting up cats).

Other than science, I would say that a World History class and Art.. especially if there are meaningful discussions.

We certainly have a good collection of wrong answer forms:

Social class:
Middle-class pride!
Character class:
Either Fighter or Wizard.
Class of organism:
I quite like Amphibia, although Insecta is growing on me.
I've forgotten what this one is:
I like null set, personally.
Class of ships:
I am a fan of the Legged-class ships, such as Archangel and Dominion. The Izumo-class Kusanagi is also really cool.

Class from object oriented programming:
SecuritySystemInterface.

Don't know. Really depends on the teacher honestly.

The fun part about learning is learning. A great teacher can really spark a interest in you concerning the subject.

Sociology. Just about anything Sociology EXCEPT Criminology classes. To me, Criminology has developed into it's own field and Sociology needs to let it go. It's not that I don't like all that stuff, it's interesting, it's just not for me. I guess anything on the macro-level does it for me. :)

Oh, you meant favorite school subject. The class really depends on the teacher, so I can easily pick favorites among those; but as a math and english major, I still can't decide my favorite subject. So I chose "other."

My favorite class is CSA 385, Database Systems.

Not because the content is really all that interesting, but because Dr. Schaber is awesome. He's been retired for years now, but keeps coming back cause he enjoys it, and just has a way of really engaging everyone. He's funny as hell too when he goes off on wild rants about MySQL and whether or not data storage space is really a problem.

way too narrow field...and the categories are far too broad. I would have to say Political Science, but another good one is Classical Studies (mythology, etc.)

23-02-2005, 15:09
Economics, because Economics rules the world.

Too true, if only I'd known that when I chose my classes. The 'nomics was for deadbeats at my school.

What is Consumer Family Studies? All-american lessons in how to buy food from WalMart and feed it to your kids until they're huge?

I don't. I just read it somewhere. I wasn't even born 30 years ago.

Nah: the elf as a class survived from OD&D through to Basic and Expert D&D which were still going up until the advent of 3rd edition, maybe six or so years ago.

The rogue pwnz you all....

anyways, my favorite class is spare! Hurray!...and if that doesn't count. There was this weird class in High-School...don't remember it's name, but basically it was for students with Learning Disabilities, because technically i still had one, i went to that class.

That class pwnz!

For a free credit, you got to do enjoyable HW..like quizzes, watch movies, 10 min actual HW (out of a 80 min class) and play cards, and talk or whatever the whole day.... Best class eva!

My favorites- Contemporary Moral Issues or Writing the Novel

Contemporary Moral Issues was easy, because we got a lot of our grade from class participation. Far be it for me to keep my mouth shut. They didn't need it being part of the grade to encourage me to give my opinions.

Writing the Novel was hard. Class met three times a week and we had to have fifteen pages written every class, then discuss them and turn them in for grading. You had to have enough copies for everyone to have one and discuss it in the next class. Tons of homework. Not only did you have to write yours, but read ones and give your opinions of seventeen other students work.

Mine would have to be Biology which is why I voted science or my Architectural Design class. We just sit around drawing sketches by hand or on the comp. while discussing anything and everything. I mostly screw around with polo teammates during the class and draw pretty houses. And Bio becasue I just love bio plus my teacher's a genius.
