I just wanted to say to all the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trangendered, transexual and intersexed people out there: Thanks! The world would be a much duller place with only one notion of gender and sexuality! Much as only one homogenous culture would soon drive me to death by boredom:)

You're welcome. And you're right.

The world needs more bi/asexual (it's a conflict, I know... I could explain it if you wanted.) transgendered people with an affinity for ancient history like me!

Now to come up with my own seperate agenda to scare extremists the world over!

Free fajitas for everyone!

No, that doesn't fill me with terror...
I'm new at this. gimme time.

Well, in the meanwhile, keep working at the fajitas agenda. I'm sure everyone will appreciate it.

Hee, it sounds funny if you say "fajita agenda" out loud with a Spanish accent.

Pansexuality is a great word! We need something like that for gender too, so we can include more than just male/female...

Too long...

I love two-spirited as a term, but it leaves out the exclusively male/female...(is there really such a thing as such exclusivity? Don't we all have male/female aspects?)

I certainly don't know, or I'd have read it a long time ago. I only know what I do from several years of mental self-examination

Hum dum dee dum, don't know if this has already been posted but....

Gay couples will be able to marry in register offices by Christmas. The Civil Partnership Act which comes into force on December 5, will give gay people the same partnership rights enjoyed by married couples. Gays can benefit from a dead partner's pension and be granted next-of-kin rights in hospitals. "This is the moment we fought so hard for," said Ben Summerskill of gay rights group Stonewall.

Extract from 'The Metro' paper, BBC seems to be saying the same thing as well so it's good news for the gays/Lesbians/everyone in the UK by the sounds of it ^^

perhaps i am just too easily entertained, but i never seem to get sick of laughing at those people. i probably shouldn't find humor in the pitiful helplessness of other humans, i suppose, and i know that probably means i am wicked at heart. it's just that they are SO OBVIOUSLY living in utter terror of their own sexuality...they're such a self-parody, i can't seem to help myself.

Ah...but you could of course choose to keep it all quiet, and pretend to be like everyone else...

The analogy of course would be dying your hair a brilliant crimson, and keeping under a hat while out in public...

I already feel like I have more masculine aspects than most women. But being able to be a man for a few weeks would be interesting. Reminds me of the old joke men make about being a lesbian in a mans body. I'd find keeping my current preference while in a mans body doubly interesting. But living life from someone elses viewpoint for a while would be really interesting. We all think we can imagine it, but how different would it really be?

Lesbians have done wonders for the pornography industry. People get bored of hetrosexual intercourse these days, anyway, so a little deviation is good!

One noted homosexual that I admire (I am not gay) is Freddy (or is it Freddie?) Mercury of the band Queen. This man, to me, shall always be remebered as legend, especially at Wembley Arena/Stadium. They don't make his kind anymore.

My warmest regards to the LGBTT community; you guys rock.

I'm constantly in awe of how its possible to turn hateful words into prideful slogans, making images of suffering into sources of strength. The very name "Stonewall" is a famous historical setting for one of the first violent protests against bigotry.

Never fail to walk your own path through life.
