i actually really like chicken. boring, i know, but it requires less chewing and, being practially flavourless itself, works with more flavours than other types of meat.

Actually, bacon has more to do with how the meat is processed/and or a cut of meat as I understand it. (If there's a butcher here, please correct me) Anyway, if you're ever in the western states, pick up some beef bacon, you'll never settle for less after you've had the best. :D

beef bacon?
if i ordered bacon and got something other than pork id be very confused
I voted for steak, but it really depends on how it is prepared and cooked. I'm mostly eat beef, but pork and chicken can both be really great. Strangely right now I'm in the mood for some fat, juicy shrimp, but most of the time they are not as good as I'm imagining.
But I've been feeling bad for the animals, so I'm about to go fix me a soy burger.

Reindeer. The taste, the tenderness, little greasiness.
Most ordinary meat (pork, beef) and fish start tasting bad or bland when the food cools. Reindeer keeps its great taste.
Too bad it's expensive.

Medium-rare 20 ounce steak!! Forgot which cut. I ate it on a holiday to Florida, damn it was good.
Second to that would be lamb. Lamb is good.
After lamb it would be a South African sausage called Boerewors ("Boor-ah-vorse") which is where the American "Beef Jurkey" comes from, it's just dried Boerewors, South Africans call it Biltong.
Mine is probably shrimp or lobster.
it really depends on how it is prepared, and what quality the meat is.
assuming ideal freshness and preparation, shrimp wins for me, so that's what i picked on the poll. however, there are LOTS of ways to mess up when making shrimp, and there's a very narrow window of freshness and quality that i like. beef, on the other hand, has a little more leeway; for instance, i will eat a burger at a diner, but i sure as hell won't eat the shrimp they would serve at any diner i know. there are also more different ways of preparing beef that i enjoy, when compared to shrimp.
i like poultry, particularly wings, and i have recently discovered the wonder and glory of ribs. i adore sushi and seafood of all kinds, with the only exceptions being anemone and sea urchin (they taste like broken glass covered with napalm).

Also, Spanish Mackerel, Black Marlin, Alligator tail, clam chowder, and fish stew.

scallops, stir fried in a light sauce
scallops any way at all
followed by
crab cakes (and then crab any way at all as long as its cooked)
then shrimp (any way at all as long as its cooked)
then steak, pork chops,
then just any meat at all, I am not picky. If its meat, it must be good. Fish is in there to, along with chicken, liver, lamb, chicken gizzards, turkey...

What I've had that I like best in order:
1 Venison backstrap (aka deer tendeloin) steaks. If you've ever had it, you'll know what I mean.
2 Wild goose
3 Wild duck
4 Phesant
5 Fillet mignon
6 Cabrito (BBQ goat kid)
7 Osso bucco (veal shanks)
8 Buffalo
9 Beef ribs
10 Beef Wellington (My sister in law makes an oh so excellent Beef Wellington!)
As for beef steaks, I prefer Fillet mignon, porterhouse, and rib eye, in that order, cooked blue rare. (I have actually been known to order a steak simply warmed to body temperature.)
And for seafood, I like the gulf of Mexico shrimp I grew up on, lobster, squid, and octopus.
Baby, the other other white meat.
Or, seriously, Rabbit rocks.

Steak, followed very closely by CHICKEN
actually... quite often i prefer chicken to steak. but given one meal, i'd choose a medium-rare rib eye steak over fried chicken.
My brother has some funny rules about meat. If the animal is smaller than his fist, he won't eat it. He likes shrimp, but because it takes several shrimp to make one meal, he won't eat them anymore.
I told him to think about all the living things he kills every time he washes his hands. :) Thankfully, he hasn't stopped showering.
I picked shrimp. I really like seafood of almost any kind (sushi isn't bad, either). But I also like beef and venison. And turkey.... YAY tryptophan. And chicken. Oh and I used to eat tuna like everyday, but my roommate took my mayonnaise home with her :( I like tuna.
