Look, NS Local 8976 went down in reputation seriously when WG started arguing with you mods and loads of people left. If anyone now cares to monitor our meetings, you'll see that this is actually going to doing something. Firstly, we will finish the first meeting and so take up our stances on issues, over which we will PRESENT OUR ISSUES TO THE MODS. We are not going to leave if these are not meant, we are simply going to gather ideas from you guys (par exemple (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=395529&page=1&pp=15)) and then state them in a question to the mods.

To help 'mend' this reputation and so help to do what we originally intended, we have, after the idea was put forwards, joined with the NationStates Reform Party (NSRP) to make the NationStates Reform Alliance (NSRA), but also work seperately. As such we will meet here and on their forum (where we can avoid arguments with mods).

We are not crazy reform zealots, just people who wish to gather ideas from the posters and present these to the mods in an acceptable manners, perhaps negotiate, try to get to a compromise or tr to convince some of the mods, if they'll let us.

THIS topic, as agreed to be made to cut down time on the first meeting, is made to pick people for this "negotiating team", who will put forwards ideas to the mods - who of course can now be from either member of the NSRA.

So how do we proceed in selecting the team? Is the floor open for nominations? How shall we vote?

I wish to nominate Chinkopodia, Chicken pi, and OceanDrive as our negotiating team. Who here is from the NSRP? I don't know any of you....

I would say that only 6 or so of these members are really active.

Once again, it's still going to be that way. We just act as a voice, suggesting ideas to the mods. :rolleyes:

First we have not had elections just nominations.
Second the meeting thread brought forward ideas that were agreed on these should form the basis for negotiations.

Is "what we want" simply that material agreed on in the meeting?
