I've shoplifted a few times (long ago) I was unaware that such an activity was the preserve of diminutive extreme left-wingers! I'm especially worried since I am neither!!!

Assholes. Its because of you that the rest of us have to pay more for books.

Yeah, probably. But it could also be because of, you know, salarys increasing and products being prices higher as a result... if only there was a word for that...

Why don't you steal them if you think they are too expensive?

I have done.

But that was before Holywood drilled me in the concepts of right and wrong in a capitalist world.

Oh well, I guess we'll have to struggle on with a description of the nameless concept!!!

Inflation. It looks like someone not only needs to be taught morals, but English as well.
This is interesting, though: I simply wouldn't take something that doesn''t belong to me-why would you?

Oh well. Let's make up a word for it. How's "inflation" sound.

erm.. whoever made this thread i think you should take it down, or at least delete your post.

if a mod sees it, i think they have to report it to the authorities. I know its a harmless crime, but I think they have to anyway...

meh, could be wrong.

Because you want it, and it is the only way you can get it (usually). Or the easiest way you can get it. Or the cheapest. When its the cheapest you can get more thing with it.

Nope. If i can't afford something, i just won't buy it. I didn't vote on the poll though because i don't like either option.

Where did you get this attitude of cynisism and self-entitlement? Everyone is entitled to food, clothing, safety, and happiness, but you arn't entitled to attain goods in the "easiest" "cheapest" or "more" categories unless its legal. And since when is stealing a "harmless" crime ?
This is rather revolting

I just think the second option is a little harsh. Shoplifting is illegal and i don't think people should do it, but i would never call someone an immoral communist for doing it, or tell them Jesus would kill them. I don't actually think there is anything wrong with Communism, not in theory anyway. I'm sure making it that harsh could have been a joke, but i don't vote for the joke options.

It isn't a joke option, just a more amusing way to so "No, I have not."
