as i went through puberty i was always insanely jealous of girls who got to have breasts and in general got to grow up as teenage girls

My comment is on how you feel about yourself - It's perfectly okay to become who you feel you should be.

More seriously, if that's how you feel, there is nothing wrong with that. But, as a guy, I have to say I don't envy many of the things girls have to go through...

pretty much
im vaguely happy with the way things are, but i would feel more....complete, if i had a female body
im not complaining about my life, its been good, its been pretty privilidged (until i was 18 i went to one of the top schools in Northern Ireland, one of the top 50 in the UK probably, and now im at one of the top universitys in the UK) and i fuly accept that...but ive always felt there was something not quite right, and now im ready to accept what it is
im not about to go changing things, but this is who i am
although im almost happy as i am, i cant help but feel i would be alot happier...if....
I think of myself as female, even if my body doesnt agree. When i get the opportunity, i dress as a female, and just let myself loose
But right now i dont feel that i need to change anything. maybe in the future i will feel that i need to change my body
the funny thing is, although i feel female, i would be a lesbian if i was to acquire a female body - i am attracted to females....to that complicates the situation even further :(
but right now i am happy that i know myself, right now i dont feel the need to change my body to fit societys perceptions
who knows in the future?

Just want to make it quite clear that I think you're very brave to say that and I'm glad that this is an environment where you can feel comfortable with whatever identity and feelings you have.

I heard somewhere that while going through puberty that both boys and girls have a desire to experience life as the oposite sex.
That's not saying much as obviously you're past puberty. Just felt that that was relevant info.
