I have never been to NZ but I would like to some day.
From what I have heard it's great.

From what I hear, it's a really nice place to move to. Nice scenery, very low house prices, pretty good job opportunities.

I have never been to NZ and I dont know much about it. I try not to form opinions on things I am ignorant of! :D

Well the housing cost in NZ are higher at the moment because the demand has greatly risen though its probaly still cheap to other countries Unemployments at an all time low so what you said about the jobs is probaly true im only thirteen but im still in on the stuff

Never been to NZ, but I believe it is the country of countries. It is a shining beacon to all that is right and good in the world. It should be showered with praise, jubliation, and fabulous cash prizes. It should be loved and cherished by all people in every nation as the pinnacle of all creation.

Someday I shall make pilgrimage to this holy place and never return. Its borders will embrace me and comfort me and its land shall sing me songs. It will be my home and I will love it, defend it, and drink of its righteous energy.

Man we're lucky in New Zealand were im living its ten mins to the beach and the otherway to the bush and 'bout three hours to ski(in winter of course)

Then I shall enter NZ naked as the day I was born.

It's a great place. The people are warm and friendly, very tolerant and peaceful. The police don't carry guns (well they have a specialist branch that deals with armed offenders), protests are almost always conducted without violence - the worst that'll happen is somebody will throw themselves in front of a government limousine, sling mud at politicians, maybe burn/or shoot the flag... but nothing major. No political assassinations, no terrorist attacks. One MP got stabbed over a parking ticket in 1980 and in 1998 some nut with a shotgun stormed the MP for Hastings’ office. His secretary was held at gunpoint for a few hours but he later surrendered. Occasionally there’s gang shoot outs between Black Power and the Mongrel Mob, but they at least keep it between themselves.
Crime has increased somewhat in recent years, but that's the case in western countries. Not like it's just us...

Our current Labour-lead government is too socialist IMO, but they've remained relatively stable and done a good job on a number of issues. Liberalizing prostitution laws and passing a civil unions bill probably wouldn't have happened if we were under a more conservative government, so I'm pleased with made those strides. Taxes, however, are too high and I don't feel the government is doing enough to encourage further economic growth... but then I'm a capitalist. :D

The military sucks. Our airforce has a few Orions and Herc's but that's it. The navy is okay-ish, I guess. To be honest though, the navy and airforce are really only concerned with protecting our coasts against illegal fisheries operations, helping out customs and carrying out resuce missions.
The government recently purchased a bunch of LAV's for the army, which was a total waste of money. Apart from the fact that we don't have enough people to crew them, they're not suited for our terrain, and they're a bugger to transport anywhere (actually, it's been suggested that we would require America's aid in getting them to far off countries). The army and the government however have stood by their decision, basically saying that they want to look cool and not out of date.

The treatment of our indigenous people in this country has been fairly good. A lot of wrongs were committed in the past under British rule, but we've done our best to correct a lot of that and most seem to agree that it's time to move on. There are, however, still disagreements over the Treaty of Waitangi... and in my opinion, the time is right to set it aside and come up with a written constitution.

But we're a great nation, even if there are a few problems here and there. It's not like any country in the world is perfect, and to be fair, we don't have a lot of problems which some certain country's have. Especially when it comes to religious conservatives...

Tis great for tramping and stuff. I havent tryed any other nations bud but I think ours is quite good :D

We get a few radical left-wing American types come over here, most of them seem to be older like in the 50’s. So it’s possible that they were hippies back in the day.
