Communist Governments

I have been doing a lot of research into certain governments. Lately, I've been exploring the Communist Government of the USSR, and its party. Although I am not, nor plan to be, a communist, I would like to know what kind of political structure (specifically organization and duties) for a government/party some of you good people have in your nations, regions, etc. I'm talking real, and structures for roleplaying senarios. A constitution would also be extremely helpful. Thanks.

You actually realize that the Soviet goverment never was and never claimed to be a communist goverment?

Yes, I've studied the USSR thoughouly. Look, i know people want to argue that the soviet union was not completely communist, and that in communism, government is something that is only temporary, etc. I love for historical accuracy, but for efficeiency, and my laziness, I'm playing the historical bias card. i'm just looking for some structure, constitution, and organization info.

The USSR, the PRC, Cuba, and Vietnam show what is wrong communism. It puts too much power in the gov't and there's no way in hell they're giving that power up when the time comes.

From the time of Lenin's death until 1953, the constitution of the USSR read roughly along the lines of "What Stalin says goes". Way to protect civil rights and all that.

Communist parties theoretically at least operate under a system known as Democratic Centralism, which sort of means you all espouse the party line, but you have democratic debate about the party line within party meetings, and you have different factions pushing to change the party line in some way or another.

In my personal experience, however, communist parties can often be quite cult like and often try to quash real internal debate.

Look, I apreciate debate, especially political theory debate. But this thread was not posted to do that. I'm not looking for a historical view of Communism, I'm not looking for a debate on communism, about the theory or practice or historical documents (I have the USSR const. in front of me). I'm simply looking for the way that people here in nations states have organized their various nations, regions, etc according to the communist system, both in its ture/pure way, and its distored (USSR, China, etc.) way. So on the debate, thanks, but can someone give me some help on a Nation States communist structure, constitution, organization etc.
