Assuming you are all clepto's like me....what things have you stolen? What is the weirdest thing? Have you ever been caught?

I will share my escapades if you share yours..... :D

Not a clepto myself, but my video card is a GeForce FX 5200 that my brother stole for me for my birthday.

i stole a pack of gum when i was like 6.

I stole a Snickers when I was 5 and my mom made me take it back and apologize. I was so afraid they were going to put me in a dungeon or something. :eek:

i prefer to think of it as expropriating the means of entertainment

Snickers bars, and rolls of quarters for the arcade. I suppose you could consider reading a whole book without buying it in Barnes and Noble stealing as well.

You know those stickers they sell at like Home Depot, that have numbers on them to go on your mailbox or whatever? I took one when I was really little, and my mom found out I had it when we got in the car. She yelled at me, and I had to go back in and apologize. I was so scary, lol.

Later I became a crazy clepto....I taught all of my friends how to steal jewelry from Claire's. I was like addicted....we would go to the mall and I would come home and dump out my purse full of jewelry (particularly those beaded bracelets that were oh so popular a few years back). In college it progressed into clothes...and then I finally kinda stopped.

I occasionally snag a notebook or some pens from work, but it is usually by accident.

I agree about B & N! I saw a sign in the grocery check out line one time that read " DO NOT READ THE MAGAZINES"....of course because then you may read what you wanted to see and then not purchase it. That was like 10 years ago, and to this day, I cant look at a mag in a checkout line. I purposely try not to even look in their direction. Makes me feel like the magazine police will come and take me away.

I took a branch off the "Virgin mary tree" in portugal. Also snagged a large piece of Hadrians wall. Oh yeah and a loose bolt of the Ifel tower... Im going to hell aint I!

Oh yeah...I stole my mouse hat at Disney World. You know the ones that EVERYONE gets? I bought a different hat every day I was there, and they sell those little mouse ear hats like EVERYWHERE. So me and my cousin were just kinda hanging out, and I picked one up, put it on my head, and walked off. It was really funny. We were scared the disney police were gonna come after us. That was just like 2 years ago, lol.

Anyway, A buddy and I stole police lights off the top of a squad car at the police station. Also a flak jacket, and a police bull horn. We had some fun with that stuff

In front of my monitor, there is a 256MB mp3 player that I stole yesterday from the bus.

Oh and road cones!!! We took those all the time back in high school.

And during the 2000 election, we drove around in the middle of the night and stole people's yard signs....lol.....good times

My brother also once stole a LARGE sailboat. They ran into a bridge pylon and it sunk. Some stupid times I tell ya

Hmm.. I never stole anything big. Probably pens, rulers, erasers and stationary stuff.. No reason for me to steal anything.

i had friends who ran a bicycle chop shop in their dorm(actually coop) rooms at college.
