What are your imediant plans for the future.
I'm stressed about highschool and the constant pressure to chose a carrear and will probly have to join the military due to my graduation and the supposed draft being lined up the way they are. :( So for another question what carreer are you going into?

My most long term plan includes my next meal, oddly enough I don't really have a career. If you do get drafted to the military tell them you can cook. The military always needs cooks, at one stage I was thinking of joining as a cook, but I was vetoed at home. I mean Iraq would be just like Alice Springs! :D

Other than the fact that there are virtually no plans for any kind of draft...

My immediate future plans = commissioning as a 2nd Lieutenant in 2 years.

There is a very good chance you wont get drafted, I certainly hope that you dont. (I have no objection to your joining the military, but I find the notion people being forced into the military highly undesirable, and to be avoided if there are legitimate alternatives).

You cant do a lot about whether or not a draft comes into effect. I suggest unless you intend to take action to avoid it, that you carry on as though it were not going to happen. If you decide what you will do out of highschool and get drafted, you are no worse off than if you didnt decide, but if you dont decide and dont get drafted....

What problems are you having deciding a career? Do you lack career options (i.e. when someone says 'what do you want to do' there isnt an answer at all), or are you unable to choose between options (i.e. when someone asks what you want to do, you have half a dozen answers, all of them as true as each other)?

Graduate first degree at the end of 2005. Continue tutoring, and do holiday work @ Defence, then join grad program once year finishes.

Plans for the future? Finish my degrees in maths and commerce, drink a lot of coffee, work too many hours a week to pay for the coffee and degrees, then get a full-time job either teaching or in an office somewhere.
Oh, and make it to another grand final with my netball team. :D

I intend to finish high school, and then attend university in 2007. Hopefully graduating with a double degree in law and business (llb/bcom). Another alternative, I suppose, would be to get my law degree and then go on to the MBA programme. But whatever, I guess I've still got a bit of time to figure that one out. Either way, it'll take me roughly 5 years (possibly a bit longer) and then I'll have a damn student loan to pay off... but hell, I'm willing to do it all.

My hopes for this year include; Getting my business advertised on the internet. Do enough business to be able to quit my part-time job(which may never happen. The health benefits alone are virtually irreplaceable). Play in mud at least twelve times. Give out more groin kicks than I receive. Teach my son to blow bubbles in his beverage through his straw.

That's about it.

Well I read that a double degree in business/law can take 5 years, full time study. But I guess that’s the minimum amount of time. A MBA supposedly could be done in a year and a bachelor of law is supposed to take 4 years (again, both full time study).

*Shrug.* So I dunno. All I know is the student loan won't be pretty. Might have to flee the country... :D What most do anyways. To Europe! EDIT: Or Australia ... cheaper and closer.

Insanity is a matter of degree. And category.

One can be mildly insane or full fledged bonkers. Also, one can be a mildly sociopathic pedophile, or a babbling loony that plays with his own feces and masturbates at inappropriate times.

Which would you think was more amusing?

Getting into the university I want to - there's only one course I want to do, and only one uni I want to go to... and I'm a lazy sod by nature, so it's stressful.

Or rather, it would be, if I were paying any attention

Plans for the near future?

Hmm. Lots of things lie in my parents hands though. Money in my family is currently very tight, because my Dad doens't earn on a monthly basis but by deals, and people has been delaying paying my dad and stuff. So things can get screwy especially with the bank continually knocking on your door, and the collaterol keeps on rising.

I'm currently studying Business in Econs and Finance here in RMIT Metropolitan Malaysia, and hopefully mid or end of this year, go to the main RMIT campus in Melbourne and finish off there.

Currently I'm in my 2nd semester of the first year. So I'll be finishing around mid or end of 2007. Hopefully work a while in Australia and get some working experience (If i ever want to work, it's likely going to be in Australia), then I can join my dad here in Malaysia with his waste management business or work in Australia and be one of those Immigrants whose stealing your jobs :D
