Yes, indeed. I seem to have caught a rather nasty bug. Nasty enough that I think I'll be seeing a doctor tomorrow. I've been running a slight fever and had a runny nose and congestion all day. But most alarming, I've been having a nasty wheeze in my chest that makes breathing a chore. :(

I'm sure I'll be fine. But I'm not used to being sick. Even my rare colds are usually mild. Last time I was this sick was a nasty case of bronchitis when I was fifteen.

Sorry to see that. Your post strangely attracted me, as people where I work have been going down like flies since the new year with all sorts of sickness. Except me! They've taken to calling me 'Typhoid Mary', though I'm neither female, called Mary, or have typhoid (as far as I know) (to the last one of course, smartass).

We had that hit our office 3 weeks ago and it took out all but 2 people. You're doing right by going to the doc ASAP. We all had to go and a couple of us ended up with pneumonia. My doc said it wasn't a cold but the flu...so go get your shot in the butt and drink lots.

There's an awful lot of flu around...my dad got ill o_O (happens once a decade)
I seem to be naturally resistant to flu...

My suggestion? Build up immunities! Travel around the world, get sick, and join the military! I don't get sick cause puny, non-third world illnesses have no chance against me. As for the military...they gave me smallpox and anthrax vacinations! Though for some reason they're not giving them out anymore and not telling us why. Hmm....crap! :eek:
