Pretty basic question. If you could change from male to female or from female to male for a day, would you try it out?

Also, during your "switched" day, would you try to hit on people of the opposite gender, the same gender, both, or neither? In other words, if you are a straight male right now, and you changed into a female for a day, would you keep hitting on females, or would you try hitting on males while you were in female form?

Only if changing gender would give me some deep insight into the minds of men. The plumbing aspects don't intrigue me that much.

This poll needs an option for those who have already transitioned their physical sex, or are in the process of doing so currently

I also feel that I should note that whether the meaning is to transition gender, or just to transition the phsycial parts.

For instance. If you switched body arrangements for a day, week, month, whatever, would you still think of yourself as your original sex/gender? And when you changed back, would you maybe miss the way that you were?

Well my sexuality has always been separate from my sense of gender. I have been bi for as long as I can remember having sexual thoughts.

So here's my answer. My gender is my own, and I would not switch it, because my gender is already non binary. I'm comfortable with being somewhat androgynous, and I don't think gender is relegated to either male or female.

But physical sex? Let's see. I was born as a female-tending mind in a male-tending body (well, not all males grow breasts at puberty, granted).
And so I've lived, by the perceptions of others at least, being seen as a male, and being seen as a female. Having tried both hormonal states, I don't think that being in a body spiked with testosterone is much fun.
Having been in both physical states, I can also say that I would not give up my female bits without a fight.

But if I could change sex to say, something completely hermaphroditic, then yes, I think I might indeed like that. Who knows how long I would keep it, depends on how much I enjoyed it.
