... well, firstly, I figured you'd understand since you... didn't vote for me in the other thread, and all.

Secondly, you'll note I haven't voted for a *bunch* of the people I really like, including Kanabia, TPE and Monkey Pimp, amongst others. Not just you.

Partially that's because I didn't really want to split my votes too many ways, because I *never* like doing that. However, it's mainly because I wanted to avoid voting for people just because I like them.

The only people I'm voting for are the people I respect - mostly I respect people through seeing them debate. Hence why Bottle, Grave, Demi et al are going to get votes - I've been in debates with them before and respect their abilities in that area.

You should probably announce that any voting posts added or edited after the deadline will not be counted. That should (hopefully) keep voting posts static because you're defining an edited post as not being a valid voting post.

I thought about locking the thread for you and suggesting that you start a new topic for the next round, but these sorts of things have to be able to operate normally without Moderator assistance. This is at least the third such competition I've seen in "General", so I'd rather not set a precedent that requires Mod assistance every time a new contest is started.

Yes im giving them to Tink-She may think differently to me but shes the only one worth 25 votes in my opinion and so i might as well give them all to her.-Might explain why im not up there to much of an illogical arsehole.

Speaking of cooking, I have to get out of here and do my grocery shopping. I may be one of the very few women who hate shopping...ALL shopping. Think good thoughts for me while I brave the retail chaos. If you don't hear from me within a couple of hours please send out a rescue squad.

Men shop like its a military mission. We work out what we need, where we're going we get there and get in and out as quick as we can. Women do it like a mission of exploration. They pack up all their stuff and disapear to the shops for a few weeks... You sound like you're caught in the middle.
