I keep putting off doing 2 pieces of coursework to talk on these forums. Is it possible to be banned for a few hours or something?. So I could make a start on it........

I opened word 2 hours ago and have done nothing.

yeah i've stayed for 2 hours after college to post stuff every day this week.
its no wonder i'm so tired

I came across this place in May of last year and found the forums in July. I haven't left my desk since. My children miss me and I'm really starting to stink.

Won't be long before I end up like that the way I am going.

I am doing the same...it's terrible...I can't stop...it's really rather worrisome. The mods won't ban us is we ask (believe me, some have tried), but there is the possibility of 'death by mod'...just be an ass and get a forumban. I haven't been able to bring myself to do it.

Is there a support group for this sort of thing?:(

Yeah, that damn refresh button is all worn out...and then sometimes I think it's broken when I hit it and no new replies come up...then I realise I have to give it more than half a second...HELP!!!!!

i know how you feel. NS has taken any semblance of life i once had and discarded it like a used... tissue? this week, for example, i had 2 seminars to research & write potential presentations for. its now 15 minutes before the second one, and i haven't done any work whatsoever for it... all thanks to these damn forums calling me to post, rather than work, all week.

I have this really annoying piece of chemistry just waiting to be done.

But I really don't want to do it. It's so dull! Occasionally it gets interesting. but then there are times like this. I really should be drawing graphs to see if the reaction is order 2. Even though I know it won't I'm still meant to be having a look. And then I need to evaluate and screw around with percentage errors.

I wonder why I can't drag myself off the net.

I actually did a page of work after getting a 45 minute ban. Just another 5 or 6 to go. Then there's the piece I need to do............ *Wanders off to find more threads*

I too am addicted to NS. So much so that I actually featured it in our site Newspaper (http://newspaper.catgames.com/slh_index.html) despite the fact it's quite clearly an ice hockey site. To be honest I've never featured another game on there that wasn't actually made by the same company.

That might be car accidents. But I'm sure the river Severn is to blame somehow.......

Although I actually did get banned. Some benevolant person tried to log into my account many times and goit me a 45 minute ban.

Whoa, what a coincidence this is on here now. My mom told me I couldn't go on NS until my homework was done, and I kept having to pull myself away to go do it.

It's done now.

There might be some way you can ban yourself by putting NS on a list of forbidden sites. I'm not sure if you can do that or how to do it, but it might be possible.

The NSF1 thing I have going is so slow....but every minute I click refresh anyway...just in the hope....

Just skirt around the forums. I usually check NS and II about every 10 minutes or half hour or whatever.
