I had once heard something that was rather interesting...

I overheard a theory at school one day from a professor in History and Religious Studies saying that Christians...or rather a secretive group of them are actually possibly the greatest scientific minds the world has not yet discovered.

Apparently this group within Christianity was using the religion as a front, and Jesus Christ at the head of it had plotted with senators and powerful figures in Rome to pretend he had been executed and had "risen" from the grave... In order to spread Christianity and the eventual end of the Roman Empire...

Miracles that Jesus performed were apparently occured by Jesus and his followers aplying chemistry or other such things in order to make people believe he was causing such miracles... from pyrotechnics to advanced medicines...

The theory even states that it could have possibly gone even farther back then Jesus...

Now what this secretive group and it's members agenda could be anything...
From conquering the world, to eventually revealing their secret and sharing their advanced scientific knowledge to the world...

So this thread is for every who comes here to discuss wether or not they think this theory could in fact be true...and if so...explain what you think this group could be up to if it is REAL...

I guess it could be true. It makes sense in some ways, but there's nothing to prove it's true or not. But if they are trying to take over the world, the Satanists will be the first ones to defend our world from them. Then we would be heros! Hurray!

Quite possibly the most bogus theory I've ever heard.

Ridiculously absurd. I wouldn't be surprised if a good-size group of people around here accept it completely, though.

are you on crack? or do you have ADD? seriously... you had better be a puppet nation or something to have made a comment such as that....

And as for the theory...there have been tons of them, heck i heard the jews took him off the cross, told him to get lost and never return..where apparently he took a wife and fled to modern day france or something.
