Does this: " 祈りのフォーラム " mean "Prayer Forums"? I used Google, but I do not know if that is the case. I'm making an ad for www.Prayerforums.us , to go at www.RealLifeComics.com I founded the website about a year ago (I'm SirRoger on in) but I have not had time to advertize it.

Everyone can have their own thoughts. All I want to do is help people.

Oh, and you have to have Japanes fonts to see it.

You want to wear your religion on your sleeve, as though God gives a shit about how much you fake caring. Your sin is that of self delusion, of lying that you are anything else besides a selfish human being, a commonly known fact.

That entire damn cult is the cause of more problems in human beings than anything in the natural world. You deny all things natural and praise and strive for illogical and impossible states of mind.

You are twisted beyond belief, and your assertion that gods give a shit about your praise is antithetical, as they are too good for it (what do they get from praise? pride is a human sin).

Leave Japan out of this. They are far too advanced for your state of mind, and their gods are older and better than your ripped off hodgepodge of dieties will ever be.

Why do people need an internet forum to pray? Can people just be content with talking with God on their own terms?

Then again I cannot say much as I don't pray, I meditate. Speak to God in that way.

I also see Jesus every Thursday at the bowling alley. Dude always picks up the 7/10 split...

I think of prayer as a way to communicate with God. Not to praise him, but y'know, as someone to turn to.

Really, the guy's been around for eternity. I really don't think He needs or appriciates the praise.

Also, it's an extremely well no fact that prayer does nothing...
This will remain true no matter how much crap you ascribe to coincidence.

It's the ultimate Christian way.

"TYPE DON'T THINK
JESUS SAVES"

I can see it now in a ghastly Orwellian light.
Meditation and quiet contemplatino have grown to difficult for the ignorant masses to do. Now they have eGroups.

Besides, it never was about really believing this shit, because deep down you know it's not true.

(sigh)

Prayer may not do anything to the outside world. But it can help the person. You seem to take things far to seriously.

Yes, an honest look at life usually is quite sobering. I'd much rather believe in never never land and gods and fairies and angels.

I'm not going to try anything else...If you're simply going to insult everything I say then I may as well not even try.

Create in me a pure heart, O my God, and renew a tranquil conscience within me, O my Hope! Through the spirit of power confirm Thou me in Thy Cause, O my Best-Beloved, and by the light of Thy glory reveal unto me Thy path, O Thou the Goal of my desire! Through the power of Thy transcendent might lift me up unto the heaven of Thy holiness, O Source of my being, and by the breezes of Thine eternity gladden me, O Thou Who art my God! Let Thine everlasting melodies breathe tranquillity on me, O my Companion, and let the riches of Thine ancient countenance deliver me from all except Thee, O my Master, and let the tidings of the revelation of Thine incorruptible Essence bring me joy, O Thou Who art the most manifest of the manifest and the most hidden of the hidden!

I can't. I'm from L.A. This... is just... saddening. No self respecting educated man can endulge this sort of stuff.

And it's not like I'm the one who starts massive threads about why I hate religious or irreligious people. I'm just the asshole that points out why dogmas are stupid.

A Christian one can.

There is power in prayer. That is a 'dogma (http://www.answers.com/dogma&r=67)' I believe in. (Well, the 2nd definition, anyways)

I'd like to study it, but it baffles me, so I'm sticking with vain attempts to learn Finnish and Icelandic for the moment.

It can be tough. Once you've learnt the first two alphabets, the basic grammar and everything isn't so bad. Takes some getting used to though, of course. It's the third alphabet, Kanji (basically Chinese characters) that is really hard. I know about 200 symbols off by heart, and another 100 or so well enough to say "I've seen that before", but there are almost 2000 in total I think.

On the plus side, most Japanese people don't know them all either :)

No, the first word is "Inori" which is prayer. However, o-inori is more polite and probably would be better to use.

It's just a Hiragana "o", without the dash. It goes in front of the Kanji symbol. :) I cant type Japanese on this PC to show you, unfortunately.
